Industry Booths at Kumoricon

The KumoriMarket Industry Area at Kumoricon 2026 provides dedicated space for businesses and organizations offering goods, services, or experiences connected to anime, manga, Japanese pop culture, and related industries.

Industry Booths are strategically placed within the exhibit hall and offer high-visibility, premium placement designed to maximize attendee traffic and brand exposure. These booths are intended for established companies, licensors, publishers, studios, and high-value partners (including sponsors) who are participating in Kumoricon as part of a broader industry or sponsorship relationship.

Who should apply

Industry Booths are intended for organizations whose participation aligns with Kumoricon’s industry, sponsorship, or professional engagement goals, including (but not limited to):

• Trademark and license holders
• Publishers and production companies
• Game developers and studios
• Media companies and distributors
• Japanese cultural organizations and institutions

If your organization does not clearly fit the categories above but is interested in sponsoring or partnering with Kumoricon, please reach out to us at industry@kumoricon.org to start a conversation.

If you are primarily seeking a standard sales-focused table without an industry or partnership component, the Exhibitor application is likely the best fit.

Booth options and pricing

Industry Booths are offered in two placement tiers within the Industry Area of KumoriMarket:

Premium booth

• $1,500 per 10 ft by 10 ft booth
• Located closest to the KumoriMarket entrance and exit
• Offers the highest visibility and attendee traffic compared to all exhibitor booths

Standard booth

• $1,250 per 10 ft by 10 ft booth
• Located in premium areas of the exhibit hall, but may be inline or in slightly less visible locations within the Industry Area

Industry Booth placement is based on the nature of the organization’s relationship with Kumoricon, the scale of participation, and overall fit within the Industry Area.

Business licensing requirement

• To comply with legal requirements, all exhibitors are required to hold a Portland Business License.
• Temporary registrations are available through the City of Portland and may be used for Kumoricon.

Application timeline and review process

• Application period: Open now through Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 11:59pm PT.
• Applications may close early if the waitlist exceeds reasonable limits.
• Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. Earlier applications receive greater consideration.

Please note:
This form is not an Industry Membership application for those simply wanting to attend as an industry partner. Industry Membership applications are handled separately and must be completed through the appropriate process.

Industry members seeking space in the Industry Area should not register as attendees at this time.

Instead, please apply for Industry booth(s) using the application link below. Payments are collected upon approval within the hall. Accepted applicants will receive additional instructions, setup, badge registration, and exhibitor access.
