This 21+ event is more than just a party, it’s a celebration of everything we love about anime, music, and the amazing fans who make it all come to life.

#WeTouchGrass has become a movement that stretches across North America and Europe, with appearances at anime festivals like Anime Boston, SakuraCon, Otafest, Anime Expo, Otakuthon, and UwU Con—and now, we’re bringing that same electrifying energy to Kumoricon for the Official Afterparty experience. You won’t want to miss this!

Rules and guidelines:

We want to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, and to keep this a SUPER safe environment for all our Anime Ravers. Please read the following:

  1. FOLLOW: @TouchGrassEnt on INSTAGRAM to make sure you're updated on the event.
  2. WEAPONS POLICY: NO WEAPONS OR PROP WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED. If you are coming straight from a convention/expo, there will be a coat check to potentially store prop weapons. We are not responsible if the venue confiscates any of your belongings (the venue is pretty good with holding onto things and giving them back, but only YOU can be the final judge of whether you want to leave your stuff with security/coatcheck or not).
  3. COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT: Please keep your hands to yourself. If you would like to take a picture with/of someone, ASK FIRST and respect that person’s answer. While at a #WeTouchGrass event, be respectful, be nice, be cool, and be kind to each other. IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY HARASSMENT, please tell security, the DJs, a featured cosplayer…and we will keep you safe and have that person removed from the event.
  4. BRING YOUR PHYSICAL ID: The venue will not allow you into the venue without a physical ID. Passports and Driver's Licenses are always accepted—if you are bringing any other form of ID, please double check with the venue through email if they accept that form of ID.

  6. If there's anything else, we'll reach out—but we already know that you are all wonderful people who will respect one another's safety, which is what we love about our Anime Community!

If you're interested in participating in the #WeTouchGrass Anime Rave COSPLAY CATWALK, here are all the rules and info you need to know!

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. When you arrive at the #WeTouchGrass Anime Rave, there will be QR codes pasted around the venue—SCAN THE QR CODE TO SIGN UP
  2. THERE IS A LIMITED NUMBER OF COSPLAY CATWALK SLOTS AVAILABLE—please read ALL instructions of the sign-up form for all the details.
  3. During the catwalk, it's your time to SHINE—stroll down the lane and show off your cosplay while being surrounded by the best community on the planet!
