Information and applications for cultural groups and fan organizations interested in a Partner Table at Kumoricon.
Partner Tables are a no-cost tabling opportunity for cultural groups, fan groups, conventions and events, and local organizations that wish to connect with Kumoricon attendees and share information about their communities.
Partner Tables are intended for outreach, promotion, and community-building, not for general retail sales.

What is included
Each approved Partner Table includes:
- One (1) table in the Partner Table area
- Four (4) complimentary industry badges
- The option to purchase up to four (4) additional badges at $65 per badge
Badges are issued at the discretion of the Industry and Sponsorship Manager and the Director of Relations.
Who qualifies
Partner Tables are available to:
- Cultural groups and organizations
- Fan groups and fan organizations
- Conventions or events
- Local community groups and organizations
Eligibility is determined by Kumoricon staff. If you are an artist, creators’ columnist, or exhibitor, please refer to the appropriate application pages for those opportunities instead.
Policies and expectations
All Partner Tables and badgeholders are subject to Kumoricon’s Code of Conduct, which applies to all attendees. The Code of Conduct is available on our website, in the pocket guide, and in the Guidebook app.
Please note:
- Partner Tables are limited, and not all applicants can be accommodated.
- Partner Tables may not be used primarily for selling inventory or products.
- Having a Partner Table does not grant additional permissions or privileges beyond those explicitly approved.
- Badges requested under false pretenses may be denied or revoked for the entire organization.
The Industry team will be on-site throughout the convention to assist Partner Table groups. Important updates and scheduling information will be shared through the Guidebook app and at badge pick-up with the group’s primary contact.

How do we apply for a Partner Table?
Review the qualifications above and submit a Partner Table application using the link below. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been received.
Are Partner Tables first-come, first-served?
No. Applications are reviewed after the application period closes and are evaluated without regard to submission time.
Do people working the table need badges?
Yes. Every individual staffing a Partner Table must have an industry badge. Approved Partner Tables receive four complimentary badges, with the option to purchase additional badges as noted above.
Individuals working a table must be age 16 or over as of the set-up date. Anyone under age 18 must have a parent permission and liability release form on file in order to pick up their badge.
What can we display or sell at our table?
Appropriate items include:
- Organization or event flyers
- Promotional materials related to your group or event
- Memberships or event passes
- Branded merchandise associated with your organization or event
All displays and materials must comply with Kumoricon policies.
Can two groups share a Partner Table?
Partner Tables are not shared between groups. If you have special circumstances that require consideration, please contact us at partners@kumoricon.org.
Does having a Partner Table grant preferred seating at panels or events?
No. Partner Tables do not include reserved seating or special access to events, unless the event directly involves the group operating the table and has been coordinated in advance.
Why might a Partner Table be revoked?
Partner Tables may be revoked for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Misrepresentation of the group or organization
- Selling or displaying prohibited items
- Unprofessional or inappropriate behavior
- Violations of Kumoricon policies or venue rules
