Kumoricon 2018
has been announced!

Charity Auction

Kumoricon has a long history of giving back to our local community. Since 2005, Kumoricon has hosted a Charity Auction benefiting a local charity. In 2016, we donated over $4,000 to OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital. OHSU Doernbecher is recognized as one of America's leading children's hospitals, providing more specialists than anywhere else in Oregon, a kid-friendly environment, and family focused care. We are honored to make OHSU Doernbecher our charity recipient for our 2017 Charity Auction.

For Kumoricon 2017, we are excited to be returning to the silent auction, followed by a live auction event. Attendees will be able to browse items and place bids at their convenience throughout the convention. All items will be taken to the Live Auction for final bids. Winning bidders must be present at the Live Auction to pick up their item(s).

What sort of items are available at Kumoricon's Charity Auction?

Contributions range from rare signed prints and keepsakes, gift certificates, or even certificates for services (subscriptions, commissions, etc.). Unique and hard to find items tend to do best, but we appreciate all contributions.

How do I donate to Kumoricon's Charity Auction?

In order to run our Charity Auction every year, we rely on contributions from staff, attendees, and our industry partners. Contributions may be brought to a general meeting, or mailed to the mailing address listed on our contribution form. Contributions may be brought to the convention; however, we may decide to hold the contribution for a future auction. If you are mailing items, please include the Charity Auction Contribution Form with the mailed items, or email a copy to charity@kumoricon.org. We reserve the right to accept or reject any contribution.
