Kumoricon 2013 will feature many contests, both before and during the convention. Check back as we add information here throughout the year.

Software note for fillable PDF files: The "Submit by Email" button may only work if you are using Adobe Reader. If you are using Chrome or Firefox, please make sure to save and open the PDF with Adobe Reader instead of the Chrome or Firefox PDF Viewer. If you are using the built-in reader on Windows 8, instead of clicking "Submit by Email", right click the black area outside the page, select "Save As", and then manually email the saved file. If you are using Preview on Mac OS, instead of clicking "Submit by Email", choose "Mail Selected PDF Document" from the File menu. On iOS or Android, please install the Adobe Reader app (iOS, Android). The built in PDF viewers on iOS and Android do not support emailing fillable forms. After installing the app, make sure to open the PDF in the Adobe Reader app.

Cosplay Contest

Cosplay Contest Rules – Rules and entry instructions for the Cosplay Contest.

Cosplay Contest Entry Form [fillable PDF | DOC] – For groups or individuals entering the Cosplay Contest. Email by August 25 for pre-registration or hand in to the Cosplay Coordinator at the convention (if space remains available). The fillable PDF has an "email" button (see software note above). If using the DOC version or emailing the PDF version manually, email it to cosplay@kumoricon.org.

Cosplay Contest Tech Form (Fillable PDF for printing or emailing | Blank PDF for handwriting | DOCX) – All Cosplay Contest participants must bring a filled-out form to the tech rehearsal to give to the official technical team. Paper forms are preferred, but you may email in advance if you are unable to bring a paper form. The fillable PDF has an "email" button (see software note above). If using the DOCX version or emailing the PDF version manually, email it to cosplay@kumoricon.org.

Fan Art Contest

Fan Art Contest Rules – The Kumoricon Fan Art Contest will accept entries either by email or at the convention. Emailed entries are due August 28.

Karaoke Contest

Karaoke Contest Rules – The Kumoricon Karaoke Contest is an exciting and entertaining vocal competition featuring your favorite anime, J-pop/J-rock/K-pop/C-pop, and video game songs.

Karaoke Registration Form [fillable PDF | DOC] – Due online August 24, or when all spots are filled, whichever occurs first. If spots are still available, then registration will also be available at the audition. The fillable PDF has an "email" button (see software note above).
