 Labor Day Weekend 2010. Otaku Invade Downtown Portland. Again.
Welcome back for another year of Kumoricon! In 2010 we plan to bring you plenty of new guests, amazing mini-events, contests, and good old-fashioned fun! Heading back to the heart of downtown Portland, we will once again be taking over the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower hotel. Kumoricon has served as the center of the anime fandom in Oregon since 2003 and we will once again strive to make this year bigger and better than ever. Hope to see you there! |

Update: Friday night line information. Announcing Slightly Anime – Posted Sep. 1, 2010We would like to welcome cosplay performers Slightly Anime as guests of honor at Kumoricon 2010. Slightly Anime has run major cosplay competitions, hosted panels about cosplay and life at conventions, and most notably, put together the “Slightly Anime Dating Game” for 7 years now. Soul Candy at Kumoricon – Posted Aug. 30, 2010Friday evening, Kumoricon will feature a one-day-only special performance by Soul Candy, an “otaku rock” band from Seattle. Soul Candy specializes in playing songs and music from your favorite anime series, new and old. Entire Convention Schedule Posted – Posted Aug. 21, 2010The entire event schedule for Kumoricon 2010 has been posted online. You can browse by list of events, tabular grid, or download the pocket guide PDF. The web-formatted schedules will be updated in real-time up to and during the convention if changes occur.
