Okay. Decided, because of life stuff, the first of these will be Dec 9th.
Theme will be... Winter! ... suprised?

Any idea as to what anime to show for the first meeting. Or would you rather the first meeting be more to orginaize everything so we are all ready for 2010?

I think I'll try to come! I'm in Beaverton as well, so it shouldn't be too hard to get there. And I could possibly try and help with some stuff!

And I think for a first meeting, we should just talk and plan for some stuff. And this will also give us a chance to meet before the Vocaloid meet up

^^ nee, it's getting closer! ^^ need to figure out what to do....
And NEED to clean the house. >< mom.. I mean landlord will not let me use upstairs if I don't clean the house first. ^^; and having it in the basment is not fun, too small, no kitchen, and SMALL tv... upstarts has BIG tv. ^^

Maybe that can be our first anime then. Like 2 or 3 hours of it each visit. That can be somethin' we vote on during the meeting.

Oh, and also reading up, some of the shows I'll want to show, I'll have to get a permition form from any of the under 18 year olds. Like maybe at some point Elfen Lied, or speed grapher. I'll figure that all out though letter and we can take about it at the meeting. I kinda would like to keep the group 16 plus. But I am not sure about that yet either.

blarg. I also need to contacts ADV to make sure I get the okay to do a viewing of it... Damn redtape involved with clubs and stuff. Oh, speaking of... I need a head count to tell home many will be viewing.

So, who is for sure going to be at the first meeting on Nov 9th? Who will maybe? Who will bring people who are not on the forums?

As for anime, at this point we don't need any, not to this one anyways. We have CLUB set up stuff to deal with. Votes to take. Food to eat. Slayers with the bouncy Naga to drool over or hate. ^^;;; But yeah, since we are a club, if we want the perks of one and the safty of one, we'll need to do things like letters to the companies that have the anime rights to get the okay to show them. I was reading in one place that small clubs, which I kinda want to keep them so we can stayin a comfy house, normally have no problem getting the okays for showings.

It's not for me. It's for club safety. If you don't live with them as in emancipated, then its fine as the law sees you as an adult. But if not then your guardian or parent will need to sign something.

i'm not legally emancipated, i can't be as i don't have a job, but i live on my own, and support myself.
