Greetings, Executives and Employees. As President of the Shinra Company, I Rufus Shinra would like to cordially invite you to attend my Company Tea Party, being held in honor of... well, because I feel like it. Yes, this is a company party, so Shinra employees are encouraged to attend. Special guests from outside the company are also allowed to attend; we are always looking for new allies to join us in our quest to rebuild my vast empire... I mean, this great corporation. At a date and location to be determined at a later time, there will be much drinking of tea (and if I know certain employees, a great deal of tomfoolery and silliness as well). I look forward to seeing you there!

Hey everyone! Apparently there was some interest in having a Shinra Tea Party, so I decided to make this thread to discuss ideas for such a meetup. The idea is to have a cosplay meetup involving the members of Shinra, past and present, in addition to other cosplays if you like. So far there's no date or location for the meetup, but I was thinking it may work best if it was some time in August. That way people would have more time to pull a cosplay together, and it would give us more time to plan. Also, if anyone knows a good place to have a tea party? Maybe in a real teahouse? I'm sure there are some around, I've been to one but I'm not sure exactly where it is. Anyway, if you have any ideas, feel free to speak up. At the very least, we can all swarm someone's house and bring snacks and tea... >>

Some ideas, if you're stumped:

-Sephiroth, Angeal, Zack, or Genesis from SOLDIER
-Any of the Turks, with a limit on Renos (one can only handle so many Renos at once. oo)
-President Shinra, Hojo, Scarlet, Heidegger, or Reeve (also Cait Sith, who was created by Reeve)
-Cloud, Lucrecia, Vincent Valentine (Turk or no Turk)
-Any miscellaneous employee of Shinra, or a crack cosplay (Sorry, Turk Aeris is taken. XD)

Like I said, not sure about exact date yet. It depends on a few things... Sometime in August is the best I can figure for right now. Maybe early- to mid-August, so it's not so close to the con.

Turk OCs are fine. ^^ Just make sure you come in full Turk uniform, with a jacket and dress shirt and pants. It has to at least look like one of the Turks, no jeans or colorful t-shirts, stuff like that.

Also, that brings me to another point: if we're going to be in public or a crowded place, no weapons. Some characters have big bulky weapons that would be a pain to lug around, and might freak out some non-cosplay people, so let's leave them at home.
