Are you looking for a location in the Portland area, so more people are likely to come?
Or is anywhere fine?

A park would be suited to a more picnicy meetup. If this is going to be a tea party, it should probably be inside... but maybe near a park, or somewhere we can run around and scare people. ^^

Are there any tea places in Portland? That would be a good place, because then we could do a sort of photoshoot thing if we wanted to, like at the beach meetup.

The rose gardens were used for the last tea party, a Kumori-con forum user, threw.

The cost to get into the Chinese Gardens, are as follows:
$8.50 Adults
$7.50 Seniors (62 & above)
$6.50 Students (6-18 & college students with I.D.)
Five and under free

Ok, I'm looking at Chinese Gardens. It's $8.50 for Adults, $6.50 for students. There is a Teahouse, and the food looks a little spendy, but it looks good!

Edit: Eh, sorry, late post. ^^''

Rose Garden doesn't quite give the same feel as the Chinese Gardens... the later might be more suited, and the Rose Garden has been used before. But we can possibly find a different location, if it's too expensive and too out of the way.

If the Chinese Gardens don't work, there's always the Japanese Gardens. They're at least, a little cheaper.

Japanese Garden Prices:
    * $8.00 Adults
    * $6.75 Seniors (age 62 & over)
    * $6.75 College Students (with college ID)
    * $5.25 Youths (age 6-17)
    * Children under age six are free

The Japanese gardens are really close to the Rose Garden! It is in Washington Park! Accessible by max! The problem is, they do not allow food or drink, or noise in the gardens! It ruins the zen!

We will be Zen then. We can walk through to take pictures and such, then go elsewhere for tea and merriment. Or tea first, then pictures. Either way.
