SPOILER ALERT: Highlight to read:
Euphie is going to create a state for the Japanese, which makes Lelouch happy- but he decides to act all cocky and says "I could tell you to kill the japanese" jokingly. He doesn't realize his Geass is going off, and Euphie goes out on a killing spree.

Lelouch winds up killing her. Suzaku sees this happen, and doesn't realize that it was an accident for the geass to go off. Then he hates Lelouch/Zero.
