My girlfriend is planning on coming to Kumoricon next year, however she currently lives in Texas, will her Texas photo ID work with getting her badge and etc?

Yes. I come from washington, which is another state as well (I know, it's only one state away, but the point is I'm not from the state the con is located in now) and I showed them my washington ID, and that was what tehy wanted. As long as it's US ID, then there shouldn't be a problem no matter what you were doing that needed an ID card.

A government issued ID or school ID (for highschoolers and such) is 100% acceptable. It just needs to be a photo ID. I believe they'll take the paper copy of your driver's license if you're waiting for the actual card in the mail.

As long as it's US ID, then there shouldn't be a problem no matter what you were doing that needed an ID card.

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes, everyone must bring government-issued photo ID, even if you are buying a membership at the door. ID must be valid (not expired).

Examples of acceptable forms of identification:

• State-issued driver license
• State-issued driver permit
• State-issued identification card
• Military ID
• Passport

For attendees age 13 to 17 only, if one of the above forms of ID is not available, then school ID from the current or previous school year is acceptable.

If acceptable ID is not presented, you will not be able to enter the convention.
