Been awhile since I've been on forums. Got my savings for Vash the stampede coat half-way there. Should still be able to get it at end of June. Then I just need a black blazer for Wolfwood. If I can't get a good blazer I will do the female version. Got the materials for the cross punisher and will start that in a couple of weeks (still carving way to the dawn for my sister's riku cosplay) Cheers!

YESSS, BLACK WIDOW IS MY LIFE. I like my Starfire wig's color for BW but there's no way that I can use that wig for anyone but Starfire once I style it.

I usually don't do sketches for cosplay ideas, but I actually did this time. I did a quick sketch of what I want my Bianca cosplay to look like, or a general idea. Depending on the width I pick for the wig the hair accessories will change. I'm planning on doing some fabric shopping tomorrow~

The only innacurate thing about it is that the sleeves are too short, but those'll get covered up once I make her gloves and wrist bullets. Also gotta dye my real Natasha wig again to a red, make her belt, make a gun, make a knife and find new boots.

Bought my wig for Loki at the Arda booth today at Fanime. Can't wait to start putting beads and stuff in it~

When I get home on Monday I should have fur swatches to choose from for my cape. I just have to find a few good references so I can decide on length and shape.

Got the cross punisher started. It's all drawn out and in a couple of weeks I'm headed to a friends house to use her husbands scroll saw to cut it all out. I think I will be done with it ahead of schedule. Sisters Way of the dawn is almost all carved out. just need to plaster and paint it.

Got my swatches for Loki's cape and I'm definitely going with the thicker one, the shag is thin as hell and just doesn't look very good at all. Gonna have to wait until I pay off tuition/the room for Fanime gets billed to me before I do though.

Finally got the new measurements and problem area photos taken for my HG commissioner. Five emails sent and now I just have to wait to hear back from him. This costume WILL be done for Kumoricon. 8C

Then after HG is done my next project will be Angelica Teach from the new Pirates movie. (To go with my boyfriend's Jack Sparrow. Hurrrrrr.)

I've decided to start getting to work on Raven as soon as possible.

The other day I bought a pattern for the cloak since it was on sale, so that's done. I have gray tights and I already know what brand of body paint I'm going to buy. I have shoes that I need to paint with fabric paint.
For the cloak I'm going to use the same kind of fabric that I used for my PB dress, which I bought at Fabric Depot. Next time they have a big sale I'll get some.
As for the wig, Sahara is giving me one of her old ones to either use or practice with. I'll do a practice and if it turns out well then I'll dye it slightly more blue than purple.
For her gems on her belt I think I'm going to commission someone, and I know just who to ask...

For some reason the supports for my horns look absoballyloutely massive on my wig head but they look just fine on me. Honestly, if they were much smaller I wouldn't be very Norse.

LT., you're right, haha. Norse mythology seem to hold heavily on the "Go Big Or Go Home" thing. The shape looks great. I know exactly what you're going for, and I haven't seen "Thor" or anything of the sort yet.
