I got all the things I need to finish all my costumes yesterday. I am going to start sewing Date's jacket tomorrow and probably finish it Wednesday. I'm so close to getting all the costumes I want done :3

Today I got the fabric for bloomers for Luki and Kiki, tulle for a patticoat for Miku, and a bunch of grass stuff for Kiki's broom. I also found a mop at a garage sale that I'll cut the top off and use the handle for Kiki's broom. And I found a big peice of wood for Luki's sword at the garage sale too! The grass stuff is the wrong color, so I'm going to spray paint it today, and hopefully it will turn out good.

Finally got to work on PB again, I sewed the dress up, put it on, and it's like a tent on me.
So now I'm taking in it in the waist and extending the darts, and then I need to raise the waistline. After that I just need to sew on the purple parts and hem it.

I painted 2 packages of grass out of 6 that need to be done. I think I will be able to get through one more before running out of spray paint. Hopefully 3 will be enough to make it poofy. I don't want to buy another can of paint.

I also started crocheting Jiji. I'm going to go keep working on him, hopefully he'll be done tomorrow.

Found the perfect Stocking skirt fabric:

The colors are faded because it's a cell phone pic, it matches almost perfectly irl. I also got scalloped lace like that, too. Unfortunately I can't really make the skirt til I have the petticoat and know how it sits, so I'm really hoping I can get started next week.

I was working on Princess Bubblegum today and came into a road block with the collar. It's just frustrating because when I finally got the dress sewn together I had to take it in a ton, and it still fits a bit funny. And then the collar was annoying too, but I think I have an idea of what to do.

So, my wig is in. The length is perfect. Now, I just need to bring it to nekovamp so she can style it. Problem is is that I don't have the $$$ I promised her, and probably won't until after Sakuracon. I wonder if she'll take a rain check...

I'm going to be ordering stuff from www.cheeptrims.com this weekend. Does anyone need anything? Shipping from them to me will be covered by 15% of whatever you want. Just let me know! We can either meet up if you're close to Eugene or Portland to exchange, or I can ship things. Also, I'm ordering stuff for people over on LJ too, and some of them want to split items, so if you want something that they want to split I might ask if you'd like to split with them.

YESSSSSSSSS~ Also Sock Dreams emailed me today to say my order has shipped! So I should be getting the socks tomorrow or the day after!
All I need to do for this costume is:
-Order the petticoat
-Order the wig when it's back in stock
-Dye the blazer
-Borrow the tie
-Sew lace and patch onto blazer
-Make the skirt
-Find one of the shoes
And then I'm done!

For Princess Bubblegum:
-Finish sewing the dress
-Receive the body paint
-Make the crown
-Receive the wig

I think I'll have everything done before April! After I'm done with all this I just need to focus on buying pieces for my lolita outfit for the meetup and saving up spending money~

Started work on Kokonoe's braclets. My roomie is helping me, and together we managed to get the base layer of clay to stick to the bangle (Oh elmer's glue I love you) and now I'm just letting it sit before expanding on it to get the right look and thickness. So far, so good.

Tomorrow I plan on cutting out the pieces for Kokonoe's jacket now that I have the fabric. :]

Finally started cutting out the pieces for my Edgeworth cosplay. XD Got the jacket all cut out. Now for the pants!

Then Imma cut Megan's Phoenix one out. XD Then I can start sewing! >w<

I should be ordering my Edgeworth wig within the next week or two. *dances*

I'm not sure, but some of their Lolita dress pictures look stolen... ie taken from other websites and backgrounds changed in photoshop. Also, I'm always wary of places that have different backgrounds in every picture.

I'm cutting out the pieces for Kokonoe, or at least trying to. The pattern is by far the most confusing I've ever dealt with. Oh well, I'll manage. Good thing the fabric I picked is on sale in case I need more. >_>

I am going to finish sewing the collar on my jacket tonight and maybe do a rough stitching of the trim so it lays the way I want it before I sew it on. Kayla gave me that idea. She said it would lay better if I did really long hand sewn stitching rather than using pins to hold it down and if you use a bright color thread you can just seam rip it after you sew it on.

So here's an image of my doublet I was trying to work on for a cosplay. From afar it doesn't look too terrible, but even by doing a close up you can see that the gold lining is made out of shiny material, it's even worse with natural light, unfortunately. I bought this doublet off a friend and tried to make adjustments to make it look a bit better, though I'm still deciding whether or not it's worth putting anymore money into it. I might just put this cosplay on a back burner for now, if I pick it up at all.

Finally got some progress done...
I decided I'm going to do a Shiny Charizard for SakuraCon and I finally found a design I like. I altered it a bit and now I just need to get a pattern and start working.

Money is tight though so it might be a bit before I can actually do any sewing due to lack of fabric. :/

I got the lining sewed on to the outside part. I just need to sew it on the sleeves and the jacket is almost done. All that is left for Date is: Trim to sleeves, design on back of jacket, paint swords. So all in all the costume is extremely close to being done

So I have my Angel Panty commissioned and it came out beautiful! I also found someone to make my Toradora uniforms and someone else to make my friends Inko Chan Kigurumi! I have Dawn's scarf, hat, and skirt now, and just bought Minori's wig today. My Simca is 95% complete, all I need is the goggles. I'd like to buy my own wig but until I can I'm borrowing my friend Maddie's pink wig. Kairi is almost complete, I just need to get a new bag, if I care that much. I also want to try and pull together Minori's swim outfit. I just bought Ikki's Kogarasamaru jacket and gloves for Zach and I already have pants he can use. So I'm like, 80% done with all my cosplay plans put together!

Yay~!

Btw, I still need to do a Taobao order so I plan on doing that when I get around $100.

Did some more work on Kokonoe's bracelets, I'm just waiting for it to dry so I can do the other side and then do the same to the other bracelet. After that I have to add on the extra beveled piece, and then the smaller circle, sand, detail and paint. They're easier than I thought they'd be. :]
