Naru: Well I'm doing my Norway and England cosplay and...I really want to do them xD; I want to get Angela done too, but she might not be finished if I don't get enough money ;n;. I would like to do it this year, but my limit on money most likely won't allow it.

@Malaria: Yeah, all our makeup is gonna be a little too difficult to just do on the spot without practicing beforehand. XD
Hmmm... well, Conrad doesn't ever wear gloves, so it would look a little off. Painting your hands isn't that bad, it usually stays on the back of your hands pretty well. It's just your palms where it rubs off real quick, obviously. : P I'd say just go with paint.

@Felix: WE SHOULD TOTALLY GET THESE. Assuming they're back in stock before Sak. >> It's not the brightest green, but the black rim is what makes them really stand out, so unless we find brighter ones with a black rim too, I think these are the best choice. And they're cheap! Relatively.

I recently found out that I cannot wear purple contacts. For my Russia cosplay I tried a wide variety of different purple contacts and they all made my eyes appear muddy blue. It was sad :'/

Are you sure you've tried dark eyed contacts? Because I tried some that were made for light eyes, and I have really dark brown eyes, so they didn't really show up.
But when I got solid colored contacts for dark eyes, they show up rather vibrantly,

Solid colored contacts, as opposed to tinted ones, should always look the same regardless of your natural eye color. Bright red contacts still look bright red on my darkdarkdark brown eyes and Hashi's brightbrightbright blue eyes. Most of the contacts on that site I linked above are solid colored. I dunno if you still want purple ones, but if you need any other contacts, that's the place to get them. : )

Felix: Oh I know. I was just wondering about some of the, well, not so solid ones. I usually have good luck with the GEO series for instance, it was just the purple one that looked pretty funky. I just wonder if Green would act the same way.

@Felix: Yeah, contacts+eyepatch is... an interesting combination. One eye covered with a contact, one eye covered by an eyepatch. It's not like you really needed your depth perception anyway, right? 8D (Hashi and Jaqua are gonna have fun with that as Fai XD) Even if you don't know of any other costumes you plan to do with brown eyes, they could just be good to have. It's up to you. : P
