I tried to start a PM chain, but the Kcon forums don't let you PM more than two people at once, and I didn't have everyone's emails. >>

This is a thread for Hashi, Malaria, Felix, Jaqua, Auricle, Kero-sempai, and myself (and anyone I missed >> ) to plan when we wanna get together to have our costume making party. Each of you should reply to this thread so I know you found it! Then we can get down to planning! : D

I'll be in portland on the ... thirteenth, I think. I'm leaving on the 26th, if I remember correctly. (the same break as Malaria's minus the last weekend. plus the previous week because budget cuts.)

for a meeting place... as long as it's in Portland or reachable by bus/max/etc. Or if someone can give me a ride that's cool too.

...looks like we're meeting sometime between the 22nd and the 26th then, cuz my and Hashi's spring break is the same week as Malaria's. XD It's fine with me if we meet in my dorm room. I just have to make sure I tidy it up so there isn't stuff everywhere like there usually is. : P And my roommate doesn't care either, and probably won't be there.

As far as dorm rooms go, it is quite spacious, yes. And I can make it bigger if I push my bed against the wall. It could work. Also, I don't really wanna lug my sewing machine all the way out to Beaverton. >>

YES WE SHALL. AND WITH SIX OF US ALL TOGETHER, OUR AWESOME WILL BE SO POWERFUL THAT IT WILL BEND THE RULES OF THE UNIVERSE TO DO OUR BIDDING. And then we will have finished cosplays and all will be well. : D (cuz that means I at least won't be spending waaay more money than I should on costumes for at least a month or two)

I would offer my house as a possibility, but you guys probably don't want to come all the way out to Hillsboro. My mum does have a sewing machine and a serger though. There's plenty of space to fit many people~ = 3

I'd offer my house, too, but if everyone was going to trek out to Hillsboro, Brittany's would be more convenient overall, because it has easy max access/the sewing machine (that Yagi wouldn't have to lug. : D).

*late* M-My break is the same as Valeria/Hashi/yours. The plausible dates are good for me~

I don't understand people like that because I'm pretty easygoing. I rarely get stressed.... I guess I just don't see the point when it's something you can't change anyway.

I don't even know where Hillsboro is. I like the idea of being in Portland because I'll fail less. (and I can probably remember where Yagi's dorm is this time. Probably. Though the last time really wasn't my fault.)

Hmmm. Do we have possible dates yet? Also we can hang out more than one day... I'm in town for almost two weeks. I think that's a good idea because I really don't have anything better to do and if I'm just lurking around at home my mother will probably try to make me do stupid boring things.

Yeah I am, though it's usually for family stuff and I have a very limited time. Like I might be going to Vancouver someday around the 24th of this month for a dentist appointment. But it will only be a day trip and it is 3 hours both ways. And I was just up there for a wedding. Stuff like that.

@Felix: Don't worry. As long as you're traveling with Malaria or Yagi you'll get off at the right stop, and from there my house is only three blocks away. I can come pick you guys up at the station. = 3 If you ever find the urge to check out Hillsboro, you'll probably find that the downtown area (where I live) has a small-town type feel and that there are a lot of antique stores. Other than downtown most of it is urban sprawl. Hillsboro is not in fact very hilly, it was named after it's founder, David Hill, who is buried in the Hillsboro pioneer cemetery. I get to go and put flowers on his grave every memorial day 'cause of D.A.R. = w =

It would depend on the type of small town. There are towns like Ashland where the main street is lined with cool shops, and there are creepy small towns (like the one we went to JoAnn's in) where there's nothing but a shady-looking shopping centre and a gas station and a few fast-food restaurants. Hopefully Hillsboro is more Ashland-like. (but Ashland is also a tourist town...)

I vote we get together any two days between the 23rd, 24th, or 25th. I'd rather not meet on Friday the 26th cuz my roommate's boyfriend arrives Saturday to stay with us for a week, and I'd like to get as much of my Sakuracon packing as possible done before then.
