And now, after a good deal of bickering between the two of us...my brother will be attending as the 14th, in the style of this page.

With any luck, Hoshino won't decide to reveal what the former incarnation of the 14th looked like before the con (and therefore won't ruin our fun...)

And I have to agree, despite loving the idea of real hair being the color of Lavi's...a wig is massively easier to deal with.

XD My brother doesn't understand the concept the idea of multi cosplays or the colors or hair found in anime characters. He advised me to just dye my hair.
To which I promptly replied with "Hm, I wonder if white is in style again."

I actually did dye half my hair blonde once though for a costume. I still have the tips blonde. XD

Oh man, I actually went and tracked down this one...

That thing is crazy.

Might I recommend using this Instructable to get the grip and revolving portion started? The barrel seems like the easiest part (easiest on a difficult prop isn't saying much) but it might be a good place to start.

I can totally sympathize. I'm going to be hauling my sword around constantly, and that thing is ridiculously huge.

And weirdly proportioned. It doesn't help that it's hard to gage size correctly from manga.

Well his outfit he's in when saving Allens arse against Tyki is Different. It has gold trimming , straight on coat basically . there is a difference.

ff. I think its interesting , the one I can afford. But unique is good ' plus the pants will make me stand out

I could attempt to make some kind of plushie, but that's never been my strong suit. I could try though.

That's Tim sitting next to a variety of things I had on hand to gauge his general size, including a State Alchemist watch (2.25" from base to tip of release button), my phone (roughly 3.5" x 2"), a nintento ds (5"x3") and my monitor (13" tall x 15" wide).

Tim's wings are 16" long, his body is about 3.5" tall, his tail is 1ft long but stretches half again as big.

Like I said, he's huge, but if all else fails, I've got him.
