HERE'S THE PLAN:

We are having a D.Gray-Man lunch at 12:00 pm [saturday], we decided to eat at one of the restraunts close to Pioneer Square but we'll be meeting in the main lobby and then start walking there at 12:15. The D.Gray-Man photoshoot is at 1:00 pm [saturday] where we'll meet at Pioneer Square then move to the First Presbyterian Church on 12th and Morrison if not raining. If you're not joining us for the lunch meet, we'll be waiting at Pioneer Square by the Starbucks so we don't clash with any other events going on in the square. We will wait at the Starbucks until 1:15 and then start walking to the church. You don't have to come to the lunch meeting if you don't want to, it's just for fun. (and to freak commoners out! XD)

Come and support the Black Order! [or the Earl and the Noah clan in DLoki's case. XD]

We'll have to wait and see what I have done by then, but my list might include Grave of Maria, Lenalee's 1st or 3rd uniforms, Deke, Tsukikami, General Tiedoll or any other manner of things I might have done by then. No guarantees, though. Especially not on Maria. That THING, for lack of better description, is hell to get anywhere and extremely interesting to walk in.

yeah, i like Cross too but sometimes he just freaks me out! (^_^;) my favorite character is Tyki Mikk though. for Halloween one year, me and my friend both went as Tyki. she was the noah side and i was the human side. it was pretty epic. nobody knew who we were!

At least there weren't a crapload of Kandas at con like there were at Sakuracon this year. Oh my god, they outnumbered the rest of us a half dozen to one. There were only two 3rd uniform Lenalees and I was one of them.

A friend of mine who had never seen DGM before decided to wear nice suit, with top hot and cane to the masquerade. He is...quite attractive. Tll, think with dark skin and well kept curly black hair.

lol. You so lucked out in presents this year. All I did was a party with friends and go trick-or-treating since mine's halloween. We didn't even get a lot of candy since we went out late. Most of us did it in cosplay. It was great.

I really can't wait to get Miranda. It won't be for a while, since I have to worry about Sakuracon cosplays first.

Oh that's awesome. I can't wait for Halloween to roll around again. Cosplay trick-or-treating is the best. Especially when someone working at the hot topic you visited for candy recognizes who you're cosplaying.

Miranda is so under appreciated. I love her to death. Her character is so adorable.

Hm, so maybe back to the subject of cosplay news instead of... Well, what ever went on those last six posts. Opinion squabble?

Daisya's cosplay needs a bit of touching up, I'll probably redo the hem with bias tape on the cape. Then theres the shoes, which will be nailed into soles of other shoes with pins. The last bit to do is to cut the two large bells I got at Michael's, use the halves I want by welding them together, color in bits with sharpie, and then attach to cape.

Where's everyone else at in finishing?

I have noo idea where I am ( or am not) with my costume. I think I'll fix up my 'street Kanda costume' because I just can't decide which version of his uniform I should do.

I LIKE the third but everyone else will have it and secondly I really don't like 'new Mugen. It isn't Mugen at all It's an ugly, ugly lie!
but even if I fix then up my 'street clothes' make me look like a damned marshmallow >_<

May I suggest Ultralight Sculpey as a base for his mask? It would involve some sitting very still and covering half his face with saran wrap while you sculpted (unless you made a tinfoil form of his face) but Ultralight Sculpey always has great results. I made my Timcampy out of the stuff.

Speaking of which, I need to make a new Timcampy. I gave my old one to your dad on the last day of K-con lol

Oh man, I actually went and tracked down this one...

That thing is crazy.

Might I recommend using this Instructable to get the grip and revolving portion started? The barrel seems like the easiest part (easiest on a difficult prop isn't saying much) but it might be a good place to start.

Well his outfit he's in when saving Allens arse against Tyki is Different. It has gold trimming , straight on coat basically . there is a difference.

I'm trying to avoid using clay so it isn't too fragile.

I could attempt to make some kind of plushie, but that's never been my strong suit. I could try though.

Anyone made one before? I'm most worried about the wings.

That's Tim sitting next to a variety of things I had on hand to gauge his general size, including a State Alchemist watch (2.25" from base to tip of release button), my phone (roughly 3.5" x 2"), a nintento ds (5"x3") and my monitor (13" tall x 15" wide).

Tim's wings are 16" long, his body is about 3.5" tall, his tail is 1ft long but stretches half again as big.

Like I said, he's huge, but if all else fails, I've got him.
