Yeah, that won't work; I need to be able to feel them so I know it'll work for what I need. I'll just have to wait till I get back to Portland. (I'm getting ahead of myself anyway; I haven't made my patterns yet. I should do that now since I have nothing better to do.)

German is my favourite homework.

I can roll Rs really easily, since I took Spanish for five years when I was a little kid. But the German Rs are really more frenchy than spanishy. You might just need practise, but there are people who have a physical tongue-obstruction that prevents them from being able to. D: (I guess... you put the tip of your tongue almost-but-not-quite touching the roof of your mouth maybe a little behind where you pronounce Ts, and then you blow past it while voicing the sound and it just .. vibrates?)

I've heard that being able to roll your Rs is a genetic trait, like turning your tougue over. Like my dad can't roll his Rs, and my mom can't flip her tongue over, but each can do the other. Luckily I can do both. ' w '

My tongue has no vibration skills. xD I mostly just flip my tongue up because it's better than saying "URRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

I KNOW. Dx My teacher told us to gurgle or something, and when I do that it makes some weird raspy noise.

Most people can. It's just if the connecting part on the bottom of your tongue is too stiff or something ... you can do it if you get the obstricting part surgically removed, but that sounds painful.

Pre-made patterns are huge on me, and I find it easier to make my own than alter existing ones.

That sounds more like French R.

On the first day of my class, we had to start speaking it. It's hard, and you feel stupid at first, but it really helps.

I really love languages and listening to them, but most of them just don't click in my brain. I'm surprised and ecstatic that I can get anything done in my Japanese class. I'd love to learn more in the future maybe. : 3

I love learning languages. I have such a hard time remembering a lot of it, but it's all so interesting.

Try the "R" sound in Hebrew... It's at the back of your mouth... xD

I think every one wants to be Prussia because he's just so awesome... but I'd rather have more variety than dozens of Prussias.

I'm the only England so far... Did the other ones ditch, or were they not on the forum? (I'll probably only be England for the masquerade, though...)

Felix: I think so too, about Prussia. Though it surprises me how many people cosplay Prussia nowadays... When I went to AX there were about 2 Prussias that I remember out of all the Hetalia cosplayers, of which there were a lot.

My only problem with the increasing number is it's hard to tell people "Look for Blog Prussia or Austria for instructions" if there's several of each. xP

I can't think of anyone else cosplaying blog!Prussia, though. Also, if we're gonna talk about how many Prussias there are, we might as well talk about all the Canadas and Russias- There were the same amount of each.

Also, it's barely October. More people will be more characters~

I remember a lot of people who showed up for the events weren't on the forums, too. So we have to take that into account. There'll most likely be a full G8, of course. We have six of it already, and there should be at least one Canada cosplayer and one America cosplayer. ^^

Also, solution to me standing out in all the AWESOME Prussias when I'm helping with events: I might be in a dress. 8D
Or I may be Norway or Sitaly in a suit, in which case, problem solved. Unless there's another Norway, BUT THAT WOULD ROCK so I'd be okay with it. XD

Randomly, my theory on why there's so many secondary characters this year: Hetalia is a huge fandom. Therefore, first year = primary character cosplays. Second year = secondary characters. Third and on = more of the same, and some of everything else. At least that's what I've noticed when it comes to cosplaying hugely popular series. :3
