Hmm. It does seem more like nations have 'little brothers/sisters' doesn't it? So are nations actually born, or do they just appear? ' 3 '

Quite frankly most of you are very Naïve, I’m just as fun when given a chance without people assuming things behind my back.
I tried to make it to See Japan but the schedule you set up made it impossible for us to meet up.  Really sometimes just sitting back and reading your posts is like reading a high school drama board.
Im also not please with your guys knowledge on your own characters. Sow what if there no historically accurate that’s what fan fiction is for, No one owns the countries, there countries. And as for them Having Children. . .lmao look at that statement total contradiction, that’s saying  Hetalia in Its self is dumb and useless, hello the countries as humans?  Listen to yourselves your so funny.

Canada and America are blood brothers
they have no relation to France there Nordic (Scandinavian) Norwegian (Vikings)
and English

in root all countries in northern Europe were all in one group at one time, but the DNA has separated dif. So the whole world is related to one another!
Isn’t that weird, so the possibilities are endless in the real world

But hey it always helps me to understand where everyone’s from by actually reading some history

In the example of Canada and America *They are twin brothers*
There’s no defined region two regions for North America its just North America
They have a mother whom can be assumed is of Scandinavian decent, If anyone knows it would be the Indians whom recorded  many trades with the fair hair blue eyed people, they even trusted each other and both occupied North America together and made records of there trades. So it could be possible That Canada and Americas mother Was a Viking goddess from Norway who in turn met someone (Rolls eyes) Arthur *Cough* because France was occupied doing what he does best so could not be involved, there’s no other way to cross to North America besides the other way and that was threw Iceland *Basically Island hopping* and the Norwegians and Scandinavians have been hopping back and fourth all the time and knew North America was there and visited it a lot, Even had Castles and villages and lived together with Indians, (Another part about that ,Native Americans Might as well be called Native Russians because that’s where they came from, no one for surely knows who occupied what first honestly) what your definition of Occupation is  might be dif from another Scientists. Opinion is opinion Everyone thought Christopher Columbus was the first to come to the new world, only to discover natives, but in turn now The Norwegians are getting the credit they deserve for the so called discovery, they actually mapped everything and could take you around North America on there many trade trails.

So Leads me to Say yes Its possible Countries have Children , I mean come on we are talking about a cartoon that personifies the countries as Humans what is more impossible than that then? So get a grip
Because the Lands came first meaning I’ve always heard Professors refer to North America as A women whom always turns out to be Blond somehow with ice colored eyes for that matter, Some of the Eskimos have depicted her white hair blue eyes, other Indians A women with Gold colored hair like the sun and Eyes the color of water, Wearing fur (Mother Earth anyone) The mother of Lost Spirits Doesn’t that ring a bell for anyone who pays attention in American History, the sons Of Liberty!
And entirely dif story.
The countries came from somewhere they have parents so in simple they too can have children and indeed they do!
  These are examples
USA=Father Liberty=Mother
    Example Plus children
Russia=Mother  Prussia=Father
Children- USSR, Belarus, Ukraine You know the rest
Now I’ve broken this down before in historic epic detail

KISS
Keep It Simple Stupid
   Anything is possible in Fiction!

To another note Japan and I meet outside the con and talk all the time, so who are you to judge I never show and that I must prove my love. I don’t see you guys making time on your clocks for everyone else but yourselves.

Thank you, Soundy! ^^

And Hige, calm down just a bit, please.
I know that 'Hetalia' is a cartoon, that has the nations as humans.
I'm just saying, in my own opinion, that they can't have children.
Because really, I'm not a big fan of anything that involves male pregnancies.
That's all there is to it.

They're sort of adoptive family groups in my mind. I see most of them as having been kinda spawned from the ether.
'Cause how seriously awful would it be to be pregnant for several hundred years while another nation forms inside you? Grooooss.

Hetalia tends to ignore popular conceptions of nations. If it followed them England would be a lion, France would a lady, Latvia would be a drunk old man...

A harsh view of Japan? Their religion and culture is partly structured around their own racial superiority. It's less of a problem now 'cause we nuked the imperial ambitions out of them, but they're still riddled with racism.

My theory: There are a whole lot of "countries" that are now part of other country's landmasses, but if the cultural identity is still strong enough to set them apart, they still exist. They're just shoved in the basement of the country they're a part of. Like Saxony and Bavaria in Germany. (And Prussia for that matter, but you could also argue he's in Poland's basement. XD)

As for the "parent/continent nations," like Granpa Rome and Mama North America, they just faded into the abyss one day. With that in mind, you could quite realistically have a Native American-tan.

Or a few thousand~. I think the First Nations are still hanging out with their people on the reservations, resenting the crap out of America and maybe Canada. Can't say Canada for sure, since I don't know anything about how they treated their native populations.

Hige: First generation American. The only thing I have to answer for is a proud tradition of not dying out when various governments point the finger at my people.

I'm not excusing or condemning the Japanese. They are what they are.

Jacob: I like to be realistic about the atrocities of national self-interest.

They were not, they were all over the place most in Norhtern Canada got Along very well with Nordics/Scandinavian (The fair haired blue eyes people) Those indians tended to look light complected with dark hair and Hawaiian features. . .
Yeah, but the Indians had the land, not the Nordics.

What're you trying to say in your last sentence? o.o
No one was there first

Never said there couldn't be multiple Native American-tans for each major tribe. As far as I'm concerned, they all should have their own nation-tan. But I don't choose who gets a character unfortunately.

True. I just wouldn't lump together everyone, especially not under a European trait when the inhabitants are not European.

Uhmm you guys are kinda. . .your are the types of people who thinks indians all look the same arnt you? Have you ever seen a picture of the Eskimo Northern Godess? She has white hair pale skin and eyes the color of the artic ocean, the mother spirit of life aand hope, You need to meet my brothers and all my tribe friends
A very small percent have blonde hair and blue eyes.

I'd rather go by the majority.
"Would you kindly. ."

The nation-tans aren't formed based on national self-image or faith, though. o.o I mean, half of the canon ones are blond.

...I'm gonna sound like a poohead for saying this now after I posted twice, but I just realized this is the Hetalia MEETUP thread. So, this conversation should really be in the other thread. I say feel free to spam that one up. : D
