Yeah, well as for a location of the meetup in August, it is my personal preference that we meet at the hotel (the Downtown Hilton) and scope the area as a group, see what people prefer. I know there are a couple parks in the area, there is Pioneer Square, there are a few possibilities for location, but I think checking it out as a group before Kumoricon, during this meetup, would be the best plan.

***And Kahlan just brought this to my attention, but both of us are also planning to do Final Fantasy VIII cosplays for Kumoricon, so, we had a suggestion as for how to properly schedule things so we can fit both our cosplays into these events. We're doing our FFVII for this mock-battle, that's already decided. And we would like to do our FFVIII cosplays for the Final Fantasy Photo Shoot. So, how does everyone feel about making the Mock-Battle separate and at a different time from the Final Fantasy Shoot? I know this may contradict what I suggested a while back, but hopefully you all can work with this idea. ^_^ So, Mock-Battle and Photo Shoot separate, yeah? Does anyone think it is a possibility? I know things are still a long way off, but I want to make sure we can have things working without a hitch.

that is not a bad idea. I was thinking about doing another early con would you like to do this the same time or let it have it's own meet-up? If we did it during the early con we could raise the interest a little with people who aren't participating but it could distract us from getting things done.

Yeah, I think having the walkthrough during the Pre-Con Meetup isn't a bad idea. What all do you think would need done? If there is a lot to do, then I wouldn't want to distract you or anyone from those goals, but if we can fit it in, it may be a fun thing to do and a nice use of time.

Also, just to clarify, I still want to have the Mock-Battle during Kumoricon, just at a different time from the Shoot. Just to clarify, heh.

Well there isn't really a whole lot we would do at the pre-con. Walk through the hotel, maybe have Tom give us a tour again. Eat something afterwords then work on this?

Yeah it was a lot of fun. I just wasn't sure what we could do after seeing the hotel since there wasn't a mall close by....or at least one with a skating rink, but this worked out quite well

As for the closet I'm not entirely sure where it came from, its pretty awesome tho. The squall jacket it gave me even had the white fluffy thingy, I love that closet like a brother LOL.

the pants are there now and ((tho I hate admitting haveing to have paid for something)) I did buy the necklace a while ago. Now I just have to hope that my hair grows out enough to get it cut before all of this ^^

Ah, well sounds like you've got it coming along nicely. Still plenty of time for hair growing, too.

And you won't be alone as an VIII cosplayer, at least, not if you show up to the Final Fantasy Photo Shoot. My fiance and I will be there as Laguna and Ward, respectively.

Yeah, for sure. That is one of the main things I have always wanted out of cosplay that I have rarely achieved: pro shots (individual or group). I think we can get that this year. ^_^

Yeah, we're not sure if they will be consecutive. It all depends on the schedule that gets made. At the moment, we just want them to be at different times. That could mean an hour between, a day between, who knows? It's up in the air.

Huzzah, well I will plan on coming as long as I get an ok from Eve as he seems to be running this. And if I go there's a good chance that my boyfriend will come with his Black Mage too. Neither of ours are from a certain game, just some weird japanese fanart we found but the are indeed recognizable.

Yup, glad I have a second mouth here to answer for me when I'm gone. ^_^ (I'm just playing, Nikkiolie, haha) but yeah, of course I'm down with it. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned. It will be great to have so many different FF cosplayers, allows for some fun variety. And I am fan of your White Mage costume. From what I've seen, it is really impressive.
