Well that is too bad that it is going to be smaller but that is ok. I planed on hanging out with friends most of the time anyway XD

Heres a few things I would like everybody to hear:

Props: No guns or steel. If it looks real from a distance, don't bring it. If you'd get in trouble for carrying it on the street, don't bring it here.
We don't want any trouble with public safety.

Brandishing: don't brandish weapons. period. If you wanna pose for photos while brandishing a weapon, do it outside. But be aware public safety does walk around outside.

Stay off the tables! I shouldn't have to say this, but it was a problem last year. Act like grown-ups people, not like children.

I might add more later.

I'm fixing up Garnet. Using craft foam this time so it doesn't get epiqly destroyed. (Not a typo... it's an inside joke)

Alright thanks for the heads up. The only weapon that will be in my group is Kimimaro's bone sword (really just two Styrofoam bones glued together) its about a foot and a half long ....I hope I wont run into problems.

Basically Emily is giving an excellent overview of the how's and why's of writing fanfic. Kate still hasn't formalized which of her many how-to's she's going to offer, but most likely they will include drawing and coloring costumes for characters.
Kate and Blackjack are authorized to run spontaneous art and/or writing contests.
Kate is bringing our Beta/Writer Board-- basically a networking opportunity for people who write and people who edit to meet each other and collaborate.
So far as I know, that's it for this mini-event....However, there's still time, if anyone else wants to chime in.....

Oh and during the event, check with Kate (mellonemrys) or Emily (she's been posting here about fanfic...can't recall her sn) if you (mr. manji) have any questions or needs or suggestions......as I personally am unlikely to be there.

I am going.... If anyone needs a ride in Bull Mountain, Tigard, area. I am going to be going to the Tigard Transit Center and I could pick you up and take three people and take you on the bus and it is $2 to ride the bus or have a pass

Leaving my house at 10:20am to board the bus 12 at 10:45am - I am going to be leaving the PSU at 8:05 to board the 12 at 8:15 we will be back at the Transit Center at 8:45
