I was wondering if anyone else besides me is planning to cosplay Jrockers for Kumoricon....

(I am doing a mana cosplay for otakon, and I plan to carry it and possibly another cosplay over to kumoricon)

I'm going as Kaoru from Dir En Grey. If I see you around I'll take a picture or two of you. If you get lonely at the Con feel free to bother me. As I might be lonely as well.

*cries* my mana costume is gone! *feels melodramatic*  I shouldn't have tried so hard...If I had known it was going to disappear like that.  I guess it's just traditional cosplay for me.

Oh. I'll go as Takanori Nishikawa in his awsome Crystal outfit. The one I saw on PopJapanTV that cost like 12 hundred thousand dollars?
12 million?
-pause-
12. It was 12 somthin'.

Naw. I'm just kidding. That would probably cost alot or people would like come up to me and hug me... and then like as they where pullin' away, they would take one. D: Until I had nothin' left. And then people would be like "What's with that weird girl?"
D: As I was typin' that I totaly felt like Osaka from Azumanga Daioh.

OOh....I got my Hyde cosplay today! It's just an assembled costume...and people are probably going to assume that I'm just running around not in costume (until I get up to sing something in the after hours karaoke...heh heh), but that's okay.  Maybe I'll make a Smile! box....

*reminds herself to get the tie*  Grrr.  I forgot about the smile!shoot all.....tie-like!  (I was gonna do Trenchcoat!Hyde....(from the pic that was up on their main page.....*goes to find it*)

.......

~///.///~() <--embarrassed face

....
.......
..........

Okay, I'm officially too confused to Jrock cosplay.  The advertisement for the Smile!CD....that also advertised the US concert (for Otakon)....the picture!  It was Trenchcoat!Hyde....(which is why I thought that was from the smile!shoot.....I just looked at my cd insert again...and there is not....*dies*

The gods of J-rock will strike me down imminently, methinks.

EDIT:  Mrr.  Found it!  *laughs with evilness*  Now...does this forum have a "spoiler tag" style thingy?  I got the pictures! Screencapped from the smile tour advertisement!  <--is smart!....not....

and....from that one picture I was talking about (although, I'm going with the first two for my cos....I took in this one for my haircut...)

^oh...yeah...sooooo not my pictures.  they're from advertisements, and the last one is quite obviously from The Official Larc~en~ciel Website....but I had to put credit here anyway....'cause I'm a rule-follower like that.  <--making fun of herself.

Oh...and I went with this version because I had the ability to!  And I don't have to look for a tie.  Heh.

Hrm...you could wear a black shirt, and no tie.....with the smile box...and say you're from the tour advert....LOL  <--I'm soooo cheap, that's what I'm doing.  I wouldn't be able to find Hyde's tie.....not without waaaaaay too much effort.

I'd just get a plain navy/black tie and use some cloth and sew it on.
But I hope I'll find a good tie. :3

I was thinking about doing that. Just sewing cloth on a tie.. but... I have to find a red tie for another cosplay, so might as well look for both while I'm at it. XD
