As much as I would like to see Chris Hazelton (Misfile) http://www.misfile.com that fact that they put it on new years eve will prevent me from ever going to mew. Me, much like most people I know have 1-8 things they will get invited to that day that I would not blow off for a con. Makes me sad. I hope they move the date next year. Also, of note be sure to check out the sky at dusk as you will be able to see Venus next to a crescent moon.

haha, pink in the sense of a pink highlighter that I had to use constantly when taking notes and reading and studying and basically being destroyed by Fall term at PSU. So yeah, a pink highlighter.....and not Kirby.

I'm a little bummed out, I won't be cosplaying. I really wanted to do a Ninja Nonsense cosplay (Sasuke or, ideally, Onsokumaru), but I just don't have the time nor the finances to do anything other than attend. So, *shrug* Oh well, I will still have a blast. ^_^

Anime/manga/sci-fi/fantasy convention.
Dec. 31st - Jan. 1st
At the Red Lion at the Quay
Reg for the weekend is $40.
Room rates are super duper awesome. :0 $79 single, $89 double.
The Slants and A-Key Kyo will have a dual New Year's concert.
Chris Hazelton and Robert Axelrod are other guests that'll be there.
There'll be a common cosplay skit competition, but also a separate one for dance-skits.
I'll be running a Howl's Moving Castle panel!

We'll have tabletop and console gaming.
I believe there's gonna be a Harry Potter panel, and a vampire panel. (Oh, popular fantasy. xD The vampire one will not be just about Twilight though; I think I can promise that... To say the least. )
There'll be veiwing rooms with sci-fi, fantasy, and anime movies/shows.
Art show!~
BangBangNeko will be there too.
Ur.

It will be a lot smaller than K-con.

I paid $35 but it does say that it is $40. Even if it is the same price I wouldn't want to wait in a line during the con to get my badge. I would rather wait the day before.
