For my final project in my beginning drawing class we have to draw a self portrait. I've just finished the first draft, and I realized it doesn't look like me... Its pretty cool (i think) but it looks like someone I've never met! not me!!

I'll probably do about 2 or 3 more drafts until i get it right ^^

Whoever drew that has some awesome talent. There's a lot of understanding of anatomy, but I think a little more bravery on the shading would be great. I don't know if I could do better, to be honest. I'm too scared to do a self-portrait.

@ Lotus, umm use tracing paper? Tape tracing paper on screen over your photo, and follow the lines. Dunno, haven't done that stuff since I traced dinosaurs as a little kid.

I am the guy in the kilt to the right... that was about two years ago on halloween, and I have gained few inches taller, and lost quite a few pounds. I have less of a belly now, and my hair is cut ^_^
