Nope.

Mainly because it's on a school weekend.

My mom doesn't even allow sleepovers during school weekends.

I only really wanted to go last year so I could go to Seattle on my birthday.

My dad's pissed off enough at me as it is because he had to spend money for a hotel room at the k-con...he's like "WITH ALL THE MONEY I SPENT ON YOU YOUR BIRTHDAY PRESENT WILL BE ONLY 5 BUCKS"

I even told them I'd pay for it myself...but they just said no alltogether...like oh my god, they have to drive me! I can take a train, too -_- Maybe I can go with a friend, if Riku's going I'll hide in her van or something >>

At the moment I plan to go. This time my costume(s) wont looked rushed. Yay! ^_^

Hatake, I hope something is worked out so you can go. Sakura-con is like, 6 months away, so there is time to figure something out.

Yeah, I might just go for one day, if I somehow am able to. But it's not for a while, so I don't really have to worry about it frantically. xD

ok your gonna make keyblades vondan sweet here is how much its gonna cost for me 233$ if i get everything online well i did put the cost of registration in there soo take away 60$ for the register at sakura con sooo for my costumes is gonna cost 167$ i can get that at christmas

I'm thinking about it but I haven't said a definite yes or no yet. I like the fact that I'm done with school so that won't conflict at all. My main concern is just having the money to do it.

But like I said before, I'd like to go there at least once just to see what it's like.

Find more pictures. I save d a few you posted last month. I want to make props out of aluminum I have a friend with a full sword shop, they would be cool and last forever but be spendy and the kiddies can’t take them into most con events. I took the foam props panel at K Con and realized that between making theatrical stage sets out of foam, foam armatures for metal sculptures and 1/72 scale foam castles I knew all that and some better ways to cut out large shapes accurately, so I could use foam and wood. I have also made a few leather axe heads out of Cow butt so I could use that to make a key blade. I really missed out this year putting off doing stuff for the con until the last month and then I was to behind with my mundane work and also not feeling well and could not get any thing fun finished.

I'm saying no right now. I'd love to represent Pocky Club and Kumoricon there but I'm in enough debt after Kumoricon. I can't afford another convention at this point. I'm getting to the age that Real Life wants me to start paying it for stuff, and I don't mean Greg Dean's comic.

Maybe if I get a new job or I get some very good Christmas presents.
But no, not right now.

I would love to go to Sakuracon, but the question that remains is funding it. I am really leaning on seeking out a job to fund future conventions. Nonetheless, I have and want to keep going to Kumoricon every year if I can.

i second the stuff toms sez, money aside, its also, "go to sakura half assed unprepared, or take that effort funds time, and put them into making kumoricon even more fun the last year!" that what i did this last year when i couldnt go to sakura stated going to con meetings n stuff makes kumoricon more rewarding think you had even a little bit of a hand (half a pinky compared to the staff)
