Commodore 64
« on: November 22, 2012, 09:54:33 pm »
No joke, folks.  I have a Commodore 64 that I'm looking to get rid of.  The thing is, the monitor may need some attention.  This post is to both find a potential new home for the computer and to find a place that might be able to take care of the problem.

Does anybody know of a place that could help?  I recall once being told of a place that could fix my old Atari (in Beaverton, I think...), and recently there was a retro gaming convention that some people here knew about, so I believe there is some hope in getting this thing worked on.

Assuming that I'm able to get it repaired, I'm thinking about selling it all (monitor, keyboard, CPU, printer, various accessories, original manuals, lots of games and programs) for $150, but am willing to negotiate.  If I can't get it fixed, then it will probably be a "best offer" type of situation.  (I may start things off at $50, though...).
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba
My son's plans this year (thus far): Penguin Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh
