As I sit here I feeling the pummeling of baby Max, it reminds me he is coming pretty soon
I thought it would be fun to do a informal baby pool, no money in so no cash for prize other then the joy of being right, tho if there is a winner who gets it really close, and I run into you at the next con I bet I can dig up a box of pocky or other japanese snack as a prize.

So we are all on the same footing guess wise, the ultrasounds so far have shown an estimated due date of october 8th-10th, and
around 34 weeks baby was 4lbs 5oz, which is right on the money for normal size, and that's the start of the period where baby gains like 6-8oz a week,
I am about 36 weeks and 4 more to go, or so. No health issues other then "normal" pregger pains, I have had slightly high blood pressure at times, but it was figured out that was more from being nervous when going to see new doctors (they started taking blood pressure a 2nd time and it would be normal)

I will make one more post right after this where I will put peeps guesses that I can add to

For guesses people can guess the same weight as long as its a different day.

I think I will guess Oct 14th @6 am 11 lb 1 oz just for the sake of guessing the same stats of my own apparent birth stats. (though I can't remember the time printed on the cert exactly)

Yup first child. Its funny that I had been thru some tests to check for things, and extra ultrasounds and baby size was always right smack normal expected sizes within like 2 oz at ultrasounds, which when I looked it up is about 7 almost 8 to 9 lbs at birth. Whenever I ask if the due date has changed, I am told its the same but doesn't matter since no one ever has their baby on the due date.

Heh! My sister was due august 17th and the doctors told her that he hadnt turned yet so shed have to wait. So she went home and jumped up and down on the bed until her water broke lol

I'm going to guess the time of day will be 8:35pm. (Karl ever watched Price is Right?)
The weight will be 8 lbs 8oz.

Edit: No way! I'm upping it to 8oz! I'm not giving him both!

Lol it wasnt horrible, the babys head was in her ribs so she couldnt jump for long. It only took a couple bounces for her water to break, and then after like 3 hours of trying to turn the baby before she started pushing, she just said screw it and got a c-section lol

?? You wouldn't have been giving him anything, he guessed that weight first, anyways I will change it

Anyways peeps, just got back from doc and she said in 3 days I will be full term and could have baby at any time,
official due date is still 8th -10th but from now no worries about going into labor early cuz he has grown enough

Yay its october and baby can come any time!! first guess scratched off, I am glad because I wanted baby to be born in october, and 9lbs 10oz is big

Hubby man doesn't think I will make it to meeting next saturday, we will see.

We have a TON of baby clothes including the awesome

so now its a count down, doc is going by due date of the 10th, normally if baby doesn't come on its own by a week after that then the induce, but doc said would prob induce sooner just to be on the safe side, baby is big enough, and as I get nervous when I go to docs and my blood pressure goes up, tho when they take it a second time it goes down. Normally not a big deal but while pregger it is. Not to worry they took blood for labs and everything is working fine except now my arm is sore cuz the guy missed the vein and had to move the needle about

Anyway who knows when lil max will decide its time, he has been kicking up a storm, tho he mellows a bit when I eat ice cream I kid you not

I just saw a thing on yahoo saying oct 5th is the most popular birth date.

Okay so saw doc yesterday and she is worried about blood pressure, and she is going to look at my readings at my Thursday appt, and depending on what they are they are (but not expecting much change at this point) they might induce Friday or Saturday.

Tho the hope is Max will decide to come before then on his own. I admit I wanted to go to the meeting but its lookin iffy...

okay baby game plan because of higher blood pressure (note all my lab work have been normal) doctor wants to induce just in case:
head to hospital 5 am tomorrow, they give me something to start things (not the drugs to induce yet) after 12 hours then the give me the drugs to start contractions, then whenever lil Max decides to show up he shows up, prob some time Saturday by doctors estimate.

Hun, i think its time for a csection. If your blood pressures becoming a problem, inducing is going to put it through the roof.

heya all thanks for the well wishes.

Not to worry I am at st vince, and actually have the biggest maternity suite all to my self, and am monitored constantly so should I need to have a c-cetion it would be really fast.

I went on the drug all day yesterday, and I didn't know you couldn't eat solids but I was able to have broth and jello

, after the 12 hour it lasts they let me order dinner. At this point they decided to put me on the 12 hour drug again, and after that give me the labor inducing drug. Doc said late Sunday, it just depends on my body and when lil Max decides to come.

Max is having a grand time hiding from the monitors they leave on my belly to read his blood pressure.\

I get to eat breakfast soon, tho once on the labor drug, clear liquids again, and after I have the epidural, I can only have water and ice.
