What's "Whack a Cat Girl?"

This is a tabletop game. "Neko-chan, the catgirl, is cute… Therefore she must be pelted with various objects! Plushies, water, fangirls, you name it! Build up an arsenal of items to throw at the catgirl, or use them as bait to lure her over. The player with the most points at the end is Champion of Everything. And you want that."

Hover over mouse over items on the web schedule to see their full description!

Thank you to all of staff who made the schedule and books possible

I'm excited for the app, will be neat to see it's features.

It's kinda cool to see my name on the charity auction donors list, I felt a little weird about having it there, but it makes me feel good to help and I hope you all bid like crazy on my items to help people who need it. :D

I'm looking forward to part of con now SADG FOR LIFE!

But no Pocky Club and no Apples to Apples Con Edition make me sad.

Consistently cosplaying since 2008.

Question from my brother -

For the Poke`mon TCG do you have to sign up somewhere beforehand?
Do you just show up?

Is the answer the same for all CGs?

All the tournaments (CCG and Video Gaming) is sign-up at con... we don't do any pre-con sign-ups for these events.

One question- is the Karaoke Contest and the Auditions the same thing? I see no definite change between the two.

Somebody from Programming should reply to this to confirm (or deny), but I believe the Karaoke contests are in Live Events. See the listing under the "Karaoke" category here:

http://www.kumoricon.org/events

OH ok, I see it. Thanks. =3

I printed it out and marked the stuff I want to go to, but I can't wait till the one for the phone comes out. It was so nice to create your own schedule so you didn't have to sift through the other stuff you weren't interested it, and you could get reminders before the event started. I think you could add in your own stuff like photo shoots as well but I don't recal.

it was so nice at sakuracon. I am going to have my phone with me no matter what so that means I didn't need to carry a schedule as well. I am so happy Kumoricon is using it as well. I think all cons should.

Only iOS and Android have native apps.

They report that Blackberry, Windows Phone, and webOS can use http://m.guidebookapp.com/

You might also try http://www.kumoricon.org/schedule

One or the other might work better (try both, once we've released the Guidebook app data).

Don't lie to the people, I HIGHLY doubt it will be availible for Palm's webOS! :D

It says Android, not Droid. Droid is a trademark under license to Verizon and only refers to such specific Verizon-branded phones. The app targets Android in general.

Actually, the term 'Droid' is trademarked to Lucasfilms LTD. and Verizon is allowed to use it on their say.

Amazing what you learn when you read that little tiny fine print at the bottom of a Droid commercial, huh?

That's consistent with what I stated. I didn't mention who the trademark owner was because it was irrelevant.

Yep, the nice thing about the app, is that it doesn't require a network connection once the initial guide is downloaded. So it's great for an iPod touch.
