Its really easy and everything is very cheap so that is a plus.

I don't think I am going to get the shield done by tomorrow since the last two days have been horrible for me emotionally and I haven't worked on anything. I am going to try to get it done as soon as possible though. Right now I am mainly looking for some powerful magnets for the shield. Once I find those I can put the resin on, sand and then paint and I should be about done.

Well I just ordered my magnets. I got some really strong ones from thinkgeek. I am going to try to get everything done but the magnets since they wont get here for a week or more.

Other then that right now I mainly just need to focus on losing a little bit of weight for the costume since I don't really have the money to do anything else till the 15th.

I am thinking of putting Stella off till next year since I don't have enough money to purchase more things for her cosplay, plus I want to see the game to come out to see her full outfit and her new look. Don't want to waste money on something that has been changed. I just ordered some red boots and sculpey online for Tifa's outfit. I just need to redye Serah's wig, paint her boots, and then I am set.

I've got so many plans for pictures with my Aerith Cosplay. Aerith was the first person I ever cosplayed at a con and this year's Venue is also the same one as my first Kumoricon =D Nostalgic yay!! XD I'm super excited.

I finally got around to working on my sword again. I'm redoing the motor-looking part on it since I came up with a better design >D and I have better reference pictures orz.

Yeah, they updated the characters too much. x__x I decided to wait till next year to complete Stella.

For my updates on Tifa, I am almost done with her. :DD Her boots are finally here, so now I need to make her armor thingy. Plus, I am hemming her white shirt as well and need to fix her suspender straps a bit. :3

For Serah, her wig needs to be re-dyed and her boots need to be painted.

Mm, the costume designed by ROEN has too many details in it 8'D I think I'll go back to the placeholder design after all x'D it looks cooler to me, as well.

Rikku is just about done. I need to finish up the left glove and sew the right arm guard. Once I get paid I am going to order the boots as well then Rikku will be done. I will probably get the sewing stuff done by Tuesday.

Any time is fine with me. Day 2 wasn't even really locked-in yet, I think it was just the consensus so far. If people want to do a different day/time, it's still a possibility, I think.

Cool, cool. Yeah, afternoon seems like it would work well.

A brief divergence: in everyone's experience, what would you say is the best way to do personal shoots with photographers? I want to go about getting some photography time, but I don't know if it is better to have it during the Final Fantasy shoot, or if I should aim for a separate time. I'm a shoot-n00b, I realize.

I don't really care what day it is I just know that I am going to be wearing Azula day 1 and going to the Avatar shoot is a little more important to me than the ff shoot seeing how there will probably be one or two other ffX cosplays

Plus I will probably want to do my own shoot anyway

WIAT! Why don't we just do two? FF is so popular that we could get away with it. One Day 1 and the other Day 2

I think having two shoots will be a great idea since it is very popular. Depends on what the times are.

That's actually a pretty acceptable idea. I like the freedom of having two shoots, and while I would worry that maybe some run the risk of missing certain cosplayers or opportunities by only attending one, I would most likely attend both, so I dig the idea.

Alright do we want to play around with times then? I would say noonish on Day 2. I imagine most of the panels I will want to go to will be like 3 on so any time before that will work for me. Also keep in mind that the cosplay contest is typically day two, around 5 or so.

As for Day 1 I wont be going so I don't want to give too much imput on the time. I may show up to take pictures as long as it is not at noon since that is when the Avatar shoot is.

Hey, I know that this is a little off topic, but I'm hoping someone could help me out with something...

My girlfriend does imvu, and I saw someone dressed up like a court jester with a feather in its hair. She said it was someone from a Final Fantasy game. I'm pretty sure the name started with a "K" and she said it was the devil at first, then made it sound like it was just a bad ass. Could someone shed some light on this character for me, please?

Oh, cosplay related, I think I remember seeing an old friend of mine cosplaying this character at Sakuracon '07, but I can't really remember...

I am just about done with rikku! I made the orange arm protector thing last night. I just need to sew a little more and its done. I need to fox the tan glove just a little then thats done then all that us left is to order the boots and sew the ruffles on my backup shorts

Here is the arm guard. I was debating putting craft foam inside it to give it more strength but I don't think I need to. It holds up on its own just fine.

Just fixed up my Lucrecia Skirt and bought a new lab coat =] I still need to take in the shirt though. Sadly, I wont have colored contacts this year because I cant afford it but I will just color my eyes in photoshop =]

I have done everything I need to finish Rikku. The left glove (the tan one) may look crappy and strange when it is not on but it actually looks pretty good when it is on. My boots are ordered so once they arrive the costume will be at 100%. I am going to wear the costume to a meet up tomorrow so I should have one picture of most of it (minus the boots) and will post it later tonight.

I need to get a picture to submit for cosplay chess.
