Okay so, I was looking through the con schedule put up and I came across the "Hetalia World Meeting' Day 3, but I have to wonder what does that panel entail? Would it be a serious panel or.. whats planned for it? Anyone know?

For suspenders, I really recommend Magpie or Ray's Ragtime over Hot Topic. I know some people who've had a lot of breakage with their Hot Topic suspenders, although mine are holding up okay.
That's assuming you're in Portland, though. Nobody's Baby in Eugene has some sometimes, but I hear they go really fast.

I have a idea that came to me. I am going to be dressed as casual Canada pre reg day and I have a cotton candy machine right now over at my house and maple sugar flavor and I was thinking of making a few bags of it for people who come up to me on pre reg day. What do you think?

I never understood bringing a ton of cosplays to a convention. I work hard on my costumes, and just wearing one for a couple of hours isn't enough time for me to show it off.

Russia's all but done with exception to his scarf. That baby's around four feet long now.

It's still not long enough. Not nearly long enough.

I agree with the limited cosplay thing. I took three to Sak, and even that ended up being too many for me. XD I guess it depends on the person though~

On another note, Oni Kitsune is also doing succession!Prussia this year....and I'm almost done making it. @.@

I made a Hufflepuff scarf that ended up being eight feet and fell in the same style as Russia's scarf. What did you make your scarf out of?

I'm hoping that the weight will stretch out the knit and make it longer so it's easier for me to finish XD;; I doubt that will happen. Gives me something to do on my breaks at work.

Not at the moment, but I'm sure you will see it at con. XD

Its made out of a really fluffy fannel mix material I got on sale.
I really like it, and I just took 6 feet of the whole fabric, and cut it in half long ways, and sewed it together. it worked really well and I seriously need to iron it. XD

You could block it when you've finished, that tends to stretch knited stuff out. Get the whole thing wet and stretch it out on a flat surface with heavy things to hold down the ends entill it dries. This also stops it from curling or twisting.

The Russias are now comparing lengths of scarves.

That's up there with comparing the lengths of your ... Pipes.

loool I've always thought a costume a day is usually the best. that way you're at least always in something different. and you have things to change into if something gets too hot or heavy.

and also, my well loved Russia scarf is ten feet long, hand knitted and has one end completely destroyed from being drug through the mud on the thirty minute drive to Orem. *smiles*
