So about the panel, anyone have any ideas to pitch in for now? We know we're probably going to base it off of NewlyWed, the old show from the 70's. So if you know who you want to do what or just suggestions in general put 'em out there! And for those of you didn't know about the panel please let us know if you're interested in it or not. We're still in the voting phase after all, even if it's not an official poll. xD

Edit: BAD NEWS GUYS! I just looked at the crests since I was thinking of buying mine tomorrow and...THE SALE HAS ENDED! Unless you guys know where it went to I don't know how we're going to get our crests. Gahhh!

Okay, so for now, the panel is JUST an idea. It just somehow popped out while we were on the phone last night and it sounds kind of fun. Basically like the old 1960's game show The Newlywed Game, we'll pit Digimon couples against each other to see how well (or not well) they know each other.

Here are the rules of the game:
- In the first round, the wives are taken off the stage while the husbands are asked four questions. The wives then come BACK onstage and are asked the same four questions. Once the wife gave her answer, they flip over what the husband wrote, and if it matches the couple gets give points.
- Next, the roles were switched with the husbands taken off the stage while the wives answered four questions. Here, the first three questions are worth 10 points and the last question 25 points.
- The couple with the highest score after these two rounds won a prize that was "chosen just for you". (Haha, here we can stage the winner of the first two rounds and give them something silly for a prize.)

I'm guessing the panel would only take about a half an hour even if we staged a couple commercials in between, lol. So who's interested? Here are my pros and cons:

PROS
- I think it will be fun!
- It will give us an opportunity to put New Days on the map.
- We get to wear our Digimon costumes that much longer!

CONS
- We'll probably need equipment like a projector, microphones, etc which I don't have and don't have experience working with, really.
- I'm not sure if we'll be able to make the room look exciting enough for the audience (I am pretty poor haha, not really any money to spend on this.)
- After making said exciting props and decorations, would this be able to hold the audience's attention for the entire time?

A panel is REALLY LONG compared to a skit, so I'm going to say no. I really don't mind if we do or don't run a panel this year, it's just that it's going to be a lot harder than a skit to manage and we should only do this if everyone has enough time and dedication, otherwise it's a waste. New Days is a really new group and we're just getting started; we can save this stuff for another year :3

As for the crests, oh no! Well, I know the guy has a MySpace, so maybe I can hit him up there if we're still interested in purchasing the crests. In my opinion though, I don't think we really need to wear them, because they're not THE MOST important character-recognizing accessory ever; we'd be fine without them. And honestly, I could probably use the money for something else. What do you guys think?

As for the panel, I vote no. Sorry. That would be waaay too much to do at the con. My vote is strongly to nothing else at the con other than the skit and photo shoot.

@ Sam, At Sakuracon all minors need to have a paying adult with them, since we'll be staying in a room together anyways I was wondering if you could vouch as my guardian? I'm only bringing it up because I'd like to pre-reg for Sakuracon before the price increases
