@Kero-sempai: I think Chibitalia takes place during the Austria-Hungary time frame. I could be wrong though. Haven't read the manga in forever.

@Malaria: You should totally look for tan/khaki uniforms for me. Me, Hashi, and Nicole went to the army surplus store yesterday, but all of their tan uniforms were sizes XL+. It was ridiculous. >.< But Hashi got a green uniform that fits perfectly!

Austria is gorgeous in general. Too bad I'm not~.

I hit three Goodwills and a costume store today. @@ I only found a pair of boots. They're brown and knee high and totally womanly. My Hungary found almost all her kit, now we just need the hat.

Also! Heres something to wrap your mind around! After watching serval cosplay videos at cons, why not we group together for a cosplay sketch at kc! I bet it'd be fun for a greoup activity and to pull our creative minds together for fun! recall, this will be on the second day I believe so hopefully it'll be around the middle of the day, all help is welcome for a good time for skitting!

Well I have a friend who is unsure of who he should cosplay as, I'm suggesting he goes at Japan or something. His hair is great for it already so that's a little extra money saved.

If he does that then I shall be abandoning my Lambo cosplay and going as either Poland or Italy. =u= PASTAAAAAA!Italy

I feel kinda bad for popping in here as a non-Hetalia cosplayer, but I just gotta say one thing:

If I run into any Russia cosplayers coughSK-CHANcough, you are going to be glomped/hugged - that's a promise ~~and I won't go Belarus on you or anything, I can't stalk very easily with Lina around... Although, she might do it too~~

I felt like this deserved a separate post because it's an

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Due to her school schedule, it's looking unlikely that our beloved Hashi is coming. With her approval I'm officially taking over her responsibilities. This means that I'll be making the final decisions about time and place for the potluck and organizing the photoshoot. The panel isn't changing, since it's already set up and we have a few people leading it. I'm happy to deal with all your questions, suggestions, snappish criticisms. <3

There's no word on photoshoots yet, so that's on hold.
For the potluck, we don't have hotel space so we'll be meeting somewhere nearby. If it's rainy, we'll meet in the Pioneer Mall foodcourt, because it has a roof and tables. If we're guaranteed nice weather, we'll either meet in Pioneer Square or at the Park blocks, whichever people find most convenient. I'm leaning towards Pioneer Square because it's easy to find and super recognizable.

I need help on a Germany cosplay I'm doing for a meet up and Aki con maybe Kumoricon for the last day but I need to know how to do the hair is there a wig like that or something cues I have black now and I don't want to bleach me hair(till aki con) so is there a wig or something I can use for Germany

If you won't bleach your own hair, even though it's either highly time-consuming or expensive, I'd suggest a blond lace-front wig if you really want to look nice as Germany (since his hair is slicked back and all, you should be able to see the hairline).

Yes, my people and I did have some trouble adjusting. The Anschluss certainly didn't help. But once that mess was over and I was finally an independent state again, I was blocked off from my most valuable trading partners! Really, Russia has always been putting his hands where they don't belong.
