I was planning on having a Sailor Moon roleplaying session where all the cosplayers and fans could play as themselves or their favorites. I was thinking about putting it on day 1 in the late afternoon when the agony of the registration line is over with for the most part, and hoping to rope in as many peeps as I could. I know the day of the shoot/panel would be a good time to set it around, but there's also the cosplay contest to work around since I was hoping to enter it.

Maybe I'll have it in the evening on day 2 after the contest is done or something.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you wondering about submitting the form via the forums? I don't think that's possible. If you want, you can send me the info on the form and I can put it on another one to e-mail off...

I just got off the phone with the woman in charge of the Programming department. She said that you can mail it to the registration address, which is:

You'll probably want to address it to Programming or Panels, or maybe both, but this is where you want to send it.

I know Chan would like to be in on the conversation, so I'll say that her best days for this would be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If we're going to meet in Portland somewhere, I'd recommend the park by Lloyd Center Mall (Holladay, I think...?) at 5pm, or so. As for me, it doesn't really matter so much...

Weekends work best for me, but Thursdays I could do. And getting to that park would be easy for me, so it sounds like a pretty good location.

If we did weekends, Saturdays would be an absolute no for Chan & I. Sundays would have to be done in the morning, since Chan has to be at work at 2pm.

I can't do week days until summer starts and then it would have to be in the afternoon because I have summer school.
and for the next three weeks I will be busy because I have rehearsal for my dance recital

Then I'd think that mornings would work. So long as she can get to work at 2, she'd possibly be able to come. I'm actually Skyping with her right now. Hopefully she'll give me a response regarding this, or maybe even post a response herself.

SM RPG Update!

Since this weekend is when I have to submit at least a notice and range of days/times on the entry form, I plan on putting the Sailor Moon RPG session on either Day 1 from noon to 4 PM, or 5 to 9 PM so that everyone who didn't pre-reg can get through registration, or Day 2 in the evening after the cosplay contest. Length would be somewhere around 4 hours with a small stretch break in the middle.

I'd like to put the session on a day that's in harmony with the Sailor Moon Panel so that everyone who wants to can come and play without much conflict.

Okay, it's time to start planing the panel. I've have yet to hear back from the staff but I think we should get started anyways

I'm free for the rest of the month, this week I have my last week of summer school so I will only be free past noon
also tuesdays and monday nights I have ballet and a sewing class
I can get anywhere on the max line

I'm free most of the time - I'll be out of town from August 24-30, but hopefully we'll be ready by then anyways. I have a writing class from 10 to 1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays until mid-August and martial arts class late evening on Mondays and Wednesdays, but I can meet up earlier in the day. I just need like a week of notice before we meet up. Earlier we were talking about meeting up at the park by Lloyd Center, which is really easy to get to by MAX. Does anyone have a specific date/time in mind?

Gryff - We were also thinking of doing short, goofy episode reenactments or running the panel in character, since most of us will be cosplaying from Sailor Moon.

So it would be great if someone could bring a laptop with good wifi service so we could look up some videos
and if you know of the musicals pick out a few of your favorite numbers so we could maybe pick one to show at the panel
