Ok, i have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, is that i'm finally starting to save up for K-con and my 'suprize' cosplay. The bad news is, is that i won't be able to make my Turkey cosplay like i intended it to look. I have everything i need for casual Turkey, but i won't be able to get the fabric to make the robes or the hat or anything.
So i'm just going to be casual Turkey this year.

Hashi and I are back from Japan, fyi. And... that's about it. I don't think any of our Hetalia plans for this Kcon have changed ~~(Though we may or may not have some World Cup related awesomeness for Mafitalia and Spain)~~. They just changed for everything else. Ahahaha... >>

Russia would be terrifying to dance with, but also really good at ballroom dance, because France is great at it and Russia spent about a century trying really hard to copy his culture. (Eventually he gave up on that and just obsessed over it like a normal nation. On Russian TV this week it's France Week. The only actually important stuff is this: Two photoshoots (Saturday and Sunday), both in the park blocks, both at 1 PM. Running to Director Park if the weather's really awful again. Elsewise, we've just been noodling around.

Since digging through my closet and finding costume pieces that should work for both, I've decided to go a little nuts and try both characters I'd been considering. At least until/unless I hit a proverbial brick wall. For now go ahead and put me down for both Netherlands and North Korea. My Netherlands might be the uniform version (if I can find the right color/size jacket), or might be the FIFA version (already got the orange shirt/jersey, just needing a couple modifications).

I am in the middle of a Germans shoot with Yagi and Hashi. (They're doing Prussia and Germany shots. FREEEDOOOOM.) It is ungodly hot in full cosplay. I hope it's cool this year at Kcon. ><

In actual cosplay news, I detailed Austria a wee bit and I'm liking how it looks.

Time for ~~torment~~ Prussia and Austria shots, so I am off!

A good percentage of my Sister Finland outfit is knitted: hat, stockings, and possibly skirt. I have a sweatshirt as well. I am with Malaria on the hoping for cool weather.

That all said, Fall fashion is almost here! Hooray! I hope that means knee high boots will be back in style! Still looking for non-girly boots for Russia. I might have to give in and get motorcycle boots or something.

That would be so cool just to own, too o.o

Geek and Malaria: As far as summer weather's been, if the past month and a half have been any indication, it should be nice weather. I'm guessing rain.

All of my houseplants are quite verdant right now. (Or they're succulents/cacti.) I haven't had to 'remove' any of them just yet. I'm glad that there are so many fans of Good Omens.
