(I also want to wait until I know for sure that the costume will be finished on time before spending money on a wig.)

I made progress! ..but not for hetalia >> Finally went to wigland though! awesome store. We went in and the guy was immediately "What characters?" "Huh?" "Who are you cosplaying?" it was funny, and awesome. Did not know they gave 10% discounts to cosplayers.

I have some rather lame progress... I cut more rings for chainmail today until it started to hurt my hand, then because I was still bored I started measuring out my ~~bedsheet~~ fabric for the surcoat. If I have enough leftover fabric and can't find a decently-priced sword, I'll probably make a flag. maybe I'll do more later if I'm not super lazy... and still as bored as I am now.

I could do something like that.. I was thinking of just making the cross, but yours is way cooler. And I'm already going to have the cross on the surcoat and the shoulder of the cloak... BUT I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE A SWORD. 8DDD

Its a belt that came with a pair of camo pants. It has holes all the way around and it can even be put as small as to bind my wrist...which is REALLY small. :/

Also we should make plans for our costume-making party of awesome. I need some motivation to work on this stuff.

For once I made progress on my Hetalia cosplays, instead of cosplays for other series (or friends' cosplays)! Me and Hashi finally bought our Prussia and Germany uniforms to modify. Cuz we're awesome procrastinators like that. Oh, and I finished our friend's Sweden cosplay the other day, but we don't have any pics yet, so... I'll try to get some whenever we can get him back in the costume. >>

...and that's actually all I have to say in relation to Hetalia. That wasn't as much as I thought. Oh well. 8D;; I've been busy with other costumes (and in theory homework but not really).

You can post whatever you want as long as it's vaguely Hetalia related. Links are good if they're big pics, but if they're smallish you can just put them up as is.

I failed at progress today. Cut more rings (seeing a pattern yet?) and swapped some art for some copper charms, one of which is perfect for my Hetalia cosplay. (the others were just cool)

Himeruya or somebody ought to do a strip on the Risorgimento and 1848 onwards. Austria felt no mercy for France changing to Italy's side. Less than a year and the French army was so badly beaten that they had to withdraw. xD

uh. no one, yet. it was just a vague idea that was drifting around. xD;

also I love winter. I hate sunny days; when the sun is out it puts me in a bad mood.
I think my lack of motivation is mostly due to the fact that the con is in september, and I'm generally most motivated right before/after a con. and... there aren't many cosplayers around here.

So... that's fun. 8D;; Actually, all but one of my Hetalia cosplays will be done by Scon, and the one that won't be only has one small part left to make. And besides that one small part, I just realized that I'm not actually making any costume pieces for Kcon, just buying things. : o

This year I'm going to be Gauken!Netherlands and going to bring my WWII Russia uniform once again and my in progress Bloody Sunday Russia uniform. Hell, I might even put on my Russia wig and be Gauken!Russia for a bit too. lol
