Personally I thought Mewcon was extremely boring last year. =/ There was nothing to do, and the price for the badge was ridiculous for how small it was. I think I might give it another chance, though. I won't be purchasing a badge, I'll probably just show up for the day and hang out.

I need at least 25 more staff in Programming alone to make MEW Con run smoothly. You can cap staff, and I'll go ahead and cancel Main Events, all of the Panels, Arts and Crafts, Tabletop and CCG, tournament gaming, and the exhibitors halls. Other than that, we're sufficiently staffed.

I have no clue why people are keeping me out of the loop on things like this.

Yes, the con was incredibly small. Yes, there wasn't a lot to do. But it was its first year. There's a lot of kinks to work out. Personally, I felt like MEWcon needed to be advertised more, but I see that being done with even the bookmarks at Kumoricon. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bookmarks in the bag.

Even if its a small con, we need people to go! If people don't, then it'll just be small.

If you're bored, just come talk to me

At the very least bring your DS and we can Pictochat from across the room. I really want to Pictochat with people at cons. I think it'd be fun.

It's the perfect sizeeee, I love the Red Lionnn, new years makes things special, the lines are very small, dealers hall is well organizedd, and it's so adorable.

It probably will, or it will die. the one down side to cons is they always need more attendees to run, but there are a great deal of people who don't like crowded scenes. some people however, like massive cons.

Akicon was in it's first year last year, and it was a blast. I did almost all there was to do at Mewcon last year, but my fun lies in talking and meeting new people. Most of the people I already knew there, and I had already talked to most of them. Although, I will admit, the Harry Potter panel was pretty fun. X3

Those were the golden days really. I know I "smoked" my Spiderman candy cigarettes that I procured from the Candy Crane machine at the local DQ, nobody ever asked for id back then.... a simpler time really.

Okay, some off topic stuff, but lets get back to Mewcon and all its awesomeness... :3

I actually enjoyed it for its first year. Smallness is good for Mewcon, and if it does stay small, it will be refreshing from large conventions that come before and after it. (Like k-con and sakura-con and AX) I will definitely be going

Yeah it was quite small but I will admit I made more compadres there then at any other con, had a room party (I mean...room gathering...) for new years after The Slants concert- met Hentai Cupcake there and a good time was had by all. Hope it is just as good this year, even if it is smallish

I was really impressed with the dealers room o: The only thing I didn't like was that you had to go outside to get there... and since it was raining, I didn't want to get my costume wet T_T

You could technically go through the hotel and only have to spend a second or two outside and even that was covered. I learned that after going the hard way a few times though.

It was small and cozy last year, but so does any convention once you know where everything is. This year I plan to start small and work my way up, by debuting my Dragon Ball hunt and foam sword forge n' fight panel. If everything goes right I can also release my Super Rock (-paper-scissors) card game for the fans to play.

First right in the main lobby, go to the end of the long hallway and take a right and you should come to some double glass doors that look straight at the main room.

Dealer's hall and Main Events are switching spots this year. I'll try to have signs for the way to Main Events that doesn't involve going around everything and walking in the rain a bunch.
