I have a friend who like, lives, at blockbuster, and has as many movies as they do. She might have at least one of them, if not, we'll just pick them up.
I can't believe it's tonight!!!!!!!!!!!

Movie watch was a fail, but I figured out how to do it, and I'm gonna try again next year.

Ah so it never went down?  That sucks.  This wasn't related to the group that supposedly got kicked out their room was it?

Nope, it was just the TVs wouldn't let you connect a ps2 or anything else without you having to pay, if at all.

WTF how does that work, do they have some added program to the TV that disables input feeds??  That's so wrong.

Yes, they did, actually. My friends hooked up a PS2 to the TV and it went smoothly, for like five seconds, before the screen went completely black.
The TV and PS2 were fine though, after it had happened.

Well if they went to the trouble of putting a program like that in the tv, which I'm not totally convinced of with what info I've heard, they could easily have cameras in them too watching everyone.  Just a little paranoid info to help you not sleep tonight! except it's already 12am and your all in bed, well most of you :/  I doubt they do but you can never be too careful!! Micro chips, nano tech, its freak'n star trek down here already but without the teleporters and sub light drives. hehe (we have all that too but its not publicly known)  ARE YOU SCARED YET? ? ? ?

Not typically. Things like that, don't really scare me. Though, I'd like to have our world become a little more Star Trek~ie. That'd be cool.

If you go to some of the gadget conventions around you will see a lot of things that are just slightly less technologically advanced from the props in trek or the other sci-fi shows.  Those shows are where lots of people get ideas in the first place so it's no wonder stuff get made that can do some amazing stuff.  Still waiting on the kind of tech a medical tricorder has(CAT MRI scans and more).  We don't have too many scanning devices that are small enough yet.
