Con ticket question
« on: August 15, 2009, 07:13:30 pm »
i was wondering if i would be able to change the name on a con pass. my friend said he could definatly go, but then has not been answering my calls for two months. i called his mom and her phone has been off forever. i have another friend interested in going, and still have the recipt. so would it be possible to do so?

The only time that you can change it, is right after you ordered it, and before it's printed if you made a mistake. I think that once you get your badge, it's final.

Always go by what staff say
this is a fairly common occurance, as long as you paid and have the recipt I think it is flexible, tho so close to con time would be what i would worry about

Transferring the tickets are harder than it sounds.  It causes problems in our error checking.  If we allow them freely it winds up being lots and lots of extra work for the reg staff.  And they have about 900 more badges to print between now and con, between the rest of pre-reg and all the speciality badges.  So, the will be busy beavers.
