it would be very fun. I'm just not sure I'd be able to get up to portland to film it. I live in Corvallis, so it's not too far away, I'm just not sure my parents would be thrilled with me randomly going to portland. If you need a yuki, though, I could film the yuki parts separately unless I need to be in the same frame as another character. Also, we could try filming it on friday before the con. That might be really fun, since there's not much going on precon. I'd love to participate, I'm just not sure if I can.

hmm... if we just filmed the whole thing precon that'd be fun! And then, after I meet you all, and such, my mom is more likely to let me go up to portland randomly... and I might have my permit by then (yeah, I'm 16 and haven't bothered to read the manual yet.) If we need a Kyon, I have a friend who cosplayed Kyon for sakuracon 08 with me and he might be willing to do it. He lives in Canby, though, which is a lot closer. Oh! just had an idea. What if we do some random precon filming and then maybe for the next con, we could re-create the movie they make in the anime but live action style? just a thought...

I was thinking of the exact same thing!!! About the anime movie thing they made XD haha.

my friend really wants to be Itsuki to the extreme. He makes a perfect one. XD
Plus we would have something very fun to do the first day, which would be amazing : D

Hello Everyone!
Well, it looks like I'll be going as Haruhi (that makes it what? 1,000x now lol kidding).
I'll also be bringing my video camera. Hey, the S.O.S. brigade needs footage, am I right?
I'd love to video record some cosplay goodness... not to mention strange, paranormal activity. Hhhmmm... and by my assumption, there's going to be a lot of that >:3

I've decided not to go as Haruhi after all. The costume I ordered was too small on me, but it fits my sister perfectly.

She decided on going as Yuki. She has the glasses, all she needs is the wig.

I decided to go as Tsuruya instead! (Nyoro :3)

I have my Haruhi cosplay done also guys and I might go as Yuki still depending on if I can find the wig or not

No, Haruhi's skirt is just as short, only hers is higher on the waist line.

eeeg! sorry I haven't been here for a while... Just letting you know I'm still going as Yuki and so on... I didn't die or anything XD. I realize now that it's 2 months to the con that I need to fix my costume, hurray! I think I'll be going as witch yuki, since I don't have time to master the riffs, considering they're ridiculously hard and I can't find any tabs online, so... yeah.

So, is there any official photoshoot anyone knows about? Also, who else knows the dance? I know long and short and I think we should have a mass congregation of peeps to do the dance. I'll be bringing my boombox and everything, so... anyone?

@ oslapedo - I'd be willing to make it for you but only the top part. I'd be able to make it in one day but you'd need to buy the fabric and ribbon for me. A white shirt short or long that fits, and your own skirts. [Cause I don't make skirts XD] Plus I'd need measurments....I donno if you wanna go through all that. I made my own but it's a summer uniform and the sailor fuku collar is detachable...which was a mistake I made but I'm okay at sewing XD I'd say I would charge like $30-$40, since you're buying the fabric. I don't like those freaking over priced things on e-bay and they don't sell it anywhere...

I didn't want to do the genderbending one but I'd like to see it.
I don't want to go as Haruhi either, I can just have any character with a simple change of the wig.
Anyone going as Tsuruya or Ryoko?
Maybe I should go as Ryoko in the summer uniform and make like a duct tape knife XD
OH or maybe Tsuruya in the summer uniform!
It'll all depend on if Wig world has what I want XD
