It's really early to start something like this, but I thought it would be better to do it before Sakuracon this year. Last year we had a handful of people who thought that the con staff were the ones who scheduled each photoshoot, it's not of course, that's your job! I'm just here to help sort things out and make the times and days you guys agree on easier to find.

No actual times, but me and my group of friends are pushing for KHII later on Saturday, an Invader Zim shoot on Sunday, and a Gundam Wing one on Monday. ^^

I am not able to afford sakura con, as sad as it makes me, I am a poor college student -_- However I am going to K-con 08 as Bankai ichigo and I Know of someone who is trying to put together a Yachiru costume... I noticed an entire mob of bleachers last con, and I am going to have my Reno cosplay as well, though I belive one could put together a reno photo shoot by itself for that matter, based of last cons appearances ><

SOOO... Yeah, Time nows to sweepify the net and boards and sakura con for cosplayers I suppose, lol.

This is the first time I might be attending Kumoricon this year, but if it's possible, I'd love to see a Yuugiou Photoshoot. I can ask around on some of the sites I run (especially on livejournal) if any of the members are attending and are possibly cosplaying, but if enough people show up to cosplay as Yuugiou characters, can we do a photoshoot?

(I'm still a n00b to this whole thing, since this is only my fourth con that I've been to, and most of the photoshoots I've been in were kinda thrown together at the last moment.)

And for further clarification, I've seen the shoots containing both original YGO characters and YGO:GX characters, so I have no qualms with combining the two in needed.

Plus, any further advice would be helpful! Thanks!

We've got a bunch of naruto cosplayers as far as i can tell and i think that sunday would prolly be the best day for the naruto photoshoot IMO.

so yeah sunday or later on in saturday.

If photographers are needed for the shoots I'd be more then happy to assist! Currently I have a Canon EOS 40D SLR and am proficient in Adobe ps, also I can upload the shots to my deviant art gallery or even make a new one (on dA or anywhere else). Also if anyone would like their pictures sent to them, then I could email them the shots edited or not.

Also the lolitas should have a photo shoot! How would we go about organizing a loli / visual-kei shoot?

Nothing is set yet, I'm waiting for word from the cosplayers. I check the other threads in this section about once a week for time suggestions. So go talk to your fellow cosplayers about photoshoot times.

You can just keep an eye on this thread, I try and update the schedule when it changes. However if you want to try and help decide on when the photoshoots will be you can talk to the cosplayers in the other threads. This is meant to be a sort of consolidation thread.

I've added Naruto and DNAngel, Smash Bros. is pending a day/time now.

Remember everyone, we have no schedule for the con yet, but you can be sure that Opening ceremonies will be early Saturday, the Cosplay Contest will be later on Sunday, and closing ceremonies will be on Monday afternoon. The host club tea party is the only event that will have an official schedule.

ALL times listed above can be changed by the whim of the people.

The more photos the better, the staff are always looking for people to let the convention use their pictures in official galleries.

TOWELS ARE VERY IMPORTANT.

Looks like it's going to be either on Saturday or Sunday for the SSB photoshoot, near 4'o clock. Thinking of camera angles and the lighting/sun, I think it would be a good time. Also, the park provides lots of shade, so we won't have to worry about overheating much. ;3
