Pocky Club Meet up - January 6th

Ok, first of all, I have no idea whether to put this is the questions thread or the meetup thread, so I'm putting it here!

I have a question about the Pocky Club meetup shcedualed for Janurary 6th at Pioneer Place.....It was in the Pocky Club newsletter...

'The next Pocky Club meeting will be on January 6th.
I was thinking that we could meet up in the Pioneer Place food court again. this gives us the option of going over to the underground, glow-in-the-dark, 3D pirate mini-golf course nearby if we feel like it!'

Great, now that you know that....Where is Pioneer Place?!

I know WHERE it is[i.e. mapquest, ect.], but since I live about an hour from Portland, I'm wondering if it's by any....familiar landmarks....Is it anywhere near Lloyd's Center? And, don't say, 'IT'S BY THE CON HOTEL, BAKA!' because I didn't stay there last year...so...any help?

Pioneer Place is in the middle of downtown..ish. If you take the MAX there is a stop called Mall SW 5th ave *Coming from the Gresham Max* Or Mall 4th Ave coming from Hillsboro.  Basically Pioneer Place is the huge mall downtown. Also it's by Pioneer Courthouse Square. *The Mall is between the streets Morrison and Yamhill. If you need better Directions message me. I live in Portland and go there all the time.

OK, so to answer your question with a bit more detail, you can get there by taking the MAX to the Mall/SW 5th Avenue stop. The entrances to the building are on the corners of that block. Once inside the mall go all the way down stairs and then south (the darker corridor with another fountain at the end.



An even more direct way of entering is by using the escalator that feeds directly into the food court itself. That's on the corner of 5th and Taylor.

We'll be eating/meeting up in the middle raised area so we're easier to see. Noon is a good time to get there.

Yeah I made it fine, the ride was FREEZING though, and I conked out as soon as I got home.
