Kumoricon's appearance on Freedom TV
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:58:23 pm »
On August 16, Kumoricon appeared on a local program, Freedom TV, to talk about anime and Kumoricon. We now have our appearance available for download:

Dawn and Cassie talk quite a bit about the history of anime, the growing fandom in the US, and what to expect at Kumoricon.

It is 38:26 in length, MP4 format (H.264/AAC). There are three sizes available for download:

DVD quality (720x528) [1.09GB]
iPod Touch quality (432x320) [435MB]
iPod Video quality (320x240) [243MB]

It is high-quality 60fps, so may not actually play on the iPods, though. :P But, it will play in Windows Media Player on Windows 7, QuickTime on Windows or Mac, or VLC (or your favorite player of choice with the appropriate codecs installed).

Update, 2011-02-04: This video has been re-encoded using better techniques to support leading browsers and mobile devices, at a smaller file size, and now plays embedded in the page (download links are still available):

Yeah, the volume changed a little bit through, sorry. This is actually because of some out-of-phase problems in the original stereo source, but I converted it to mono to make this less annoying. If you adjust the volume at the point it goes quieter, it should be ok for the rest of it.
