Damn, I'm just gonna go off of your list. x.x; Are you bringing all of that? If you are, then I can leave things like my glue gun at home. XD Also, I have a Navigator that we can use to get to the convention center if you wanna use that. =) I pass it all the time so for me it isn't hard to find!

EDIT: Oh I just assumed you meant Sakuracon since it's so close. If not then uh.. good list!

>:V Damn. XD I tried to convince my parents for all three days of Kumori; "And its cheaper~!"
(...well, for getting into the con, it is, at least.>3>)

No dice.

|D But still, good idea for the list.<3

Should there be another list, for those who're only going one day?
(Or can the first list be used, just negating most of the items on there that'd be used for overnight travel?|D? I'm horrible at making lists.~__~)

I do this at every con I go to and I approve!

Granted some of those things won't apply to me since I'm a guy, but :P The only con I've ever forgotten to bring something important was when I just so happened to forget to make a list <.<

I usually end up bringing at least two sets of normal clothes, the ones I wear on Thursday to the con itself then an extra just in case I get tired of wearing a cosplay or something happens to one.

@Beruchi: If you're only going one day you can just use the same list but get rid of any over night type stuff on the list.

Here are some more things:

Shaver
Dental floss
Nail clipper
Water bottle
Acetaminophen
Caffeine
Laptop/AC adapter
USB cable
Memory card reader
Headphones/earbuds
Printout of con schedule
Printout/list/map of nearby food
For cons where your badge is mailed: Badge

The previous incarnation of the Sakura-Con website had their own checklist up for a long time. This is the only archived version I could quickly find:

http://web.archive.org/web/20061011120627/http://www.sakuracon.org/index.php?s=faqs&p=faqs/checklist.php

I also have a copy saved from 2004, and it has more stuff in the lower half of the checklist--looks like they removed a few things in the interest of political correctness. :P

Oh I forgot about that list Sakura-con had on their website! Reminded me to put a few things onto my list. I also break down each of my costumes that I am bringing just to make sure I've got everything I need for them packed. Here's mine, first three items change depending on how many days the con is:

Glue gun + sticks
Super glue
Safety pins
Chapstick
Bandaids
Speakers + charger
Electrical tape (multiple colors)
Duct tape (silver + white)
Vitamins
Water bottle
Wig head
Pins for wig head
Hair pins
Book (for reading while en route)

Toiletries:
Deodarant
Shampoo
Soap
Hair glue
Hair spray
Q tips
Razor
Nail clippers

Costumes:

Firo:
Suit
Shoes
Shirt
Wig
Hat
Knife
Socks (black)

Snowtrooper:
Armor (knees, forearms, chest, ab, groin, shoulders, backpack)
Gloves
Helmet
Blaster
Pants
Duster
Boots
Pouches

Greed:
Pants
Vest
Shirt

....that list is the one I use the night before. This is what I use the day I leave (because I carry them on me, everything else is in a bag):

Phone + charger

Ipod + headphones

*edit*

Haha, wow I realized how much space I took up with that :P

Like Trumby, I like to make checklists for the clothes and costumes I plan on wearing everyday. The only major thing I've ever forgotten (and it wasn't that major) was my camera. My problem though is over-preparing for a con so I end up bringing too much stuff.

all year I save my change in a jar for play money and last year before Sakuracon I forgot to cash it in. This year should be pretty freaking sweet!

I bring the same stuff everybody else brings, but more socks and underwear, because clean socks and underwear raise your comfort level significantly, and don't take up much space.

A few other things:
Multitool+ spare (jaki tends to borrow mine!)
Lint roller
first aid kit+ extra box of assorted bandaids
tylenol/ibuprofen/advil (sometimes all three!) for hangovers and food headaches
Ipod
large powerstrip/surge protector, because one outlet per person doesn't work. ever.
a handkerchief
a small but powerful LED flashlight for walkthrough on tuesday.
VISA card. Good luck checking into a hotel without one.
chargers of every variety, same with cables

New for K-Con 2009:
a map with places that sell alcohol and their hours of business in the vicinity.
A better map with GOOD places to eat on it.
box of spare screws, nuts and bolts, safety pins, and fasteners of all shapes and sizes.
a multitude of pens of all shapes and sizes.
A spare projector connection cable
A spare computer/TV power cable
extension cable, 20+ feet, grounded
AA and AAA batteries
USB memory stick, as large as I can find with PDFs of Kcon policies, schedule, con book, maps, installers for VLC and other programs used at con.
DUCT-TAPE! I dont know how I forgot this last year! Same goes for superglue, electrical tape, sheet rock tape, paracord, chemlites
building materials, small pieces of wood, hard plastic and other small things for jury-rigging gaming and other equipment back into working order. (that repaired rockband pedal, the one with the plexiglass sheet superglued to it? that was me)

so basically it boils down to having a backup for everything, and sometimes backups for backups. Spare parts too, whenever available for purchase. "Two is one, one is none." You can chalk this all up to my obsession with preparedness

a vest of some sort that will carry essential items without making me look like a complete dork or Rambo wannabe

thats about it. comments? questions?

I tend to only make lists of the things I need to do or buy at con. :/ it's because I pre-pack way before con and then the day before I take all the time I need to pack everything else.

or I make lists of things to to bring which aren't of normal relevance like toiletries and what not. like special things for con.

Awesome lists though. There giving me some ideas of other things I should bring. (I really shouldn't over stuff the car though. >_>)

Those are some good lists. Last year was my first year, and I was so unorganized. xD I'm definitely going to use that list, though slightly modified. That way I wont forget stuff again when packing, and will be able to make sure I have everything when leaving. How horrible would that be if I left my DS behind. D=
