I got my wig today! It pleases me with how green it is. It made me giggle a lot when I put it on for some reason. Now I just have to complete everything else in time for the con. Fantastic. xD

I think that my friend might be pikachu...but she doesn't go on the forums or meet ups or anything like that.

and I own an ash cosplay (halloween last year xD) but I have no wig for it, so I would be blonde.

We're going to order my boyfriends Prof. Oak wig this weekend too. I haven't worked with heavy styling before. Does anyone have any suggestions from ampigory or cosworx for a wig to start with?

i ordered amphigory wigs, coming in a few weeks, for my wigs i'm using curlers, hair spray,hair wax, and a rattail brush for teasing and spikes.

hair spray works good and so does hair styling wax yup yup

I found some wigs that are short, no bangs, and have some spikage that you could trim down to be the ol' man's.

This wig made me laugh more than anything but it has the same short hair-spiky thing that Oak has going on so I'm just going to throw it out there. Look at the very last picture on the page for a better idea of how it could work, ya would just need to mess with the bangs to get them to be more spike and less bang (I love my technical terms): http://amphigory.com/wigs_s_flat_top.html

It's Ludwig van Beethoven! Just kidding. But it is no bangs with spikes and a lot of hair to play with. It would give you more freedom of trimming to your tastes with the added ensurance that it's already doing the floof-spike-thing: http://amphigory.com/wigs_s_funflip.html

Otherwise, hair products are your best friend! I'm always hearing about the Got 2B Glued stuff... never used it myself, but then the only styling I usually do is cutting. So, for styling and spikage - best to refer to Panda's post. XD

I am on a master quest...to complete the cosplay for the unsung trainer, Yellow. The second owner of the special breed of Pikachu from the classic games. Though I might be able to add attachments for a Pikachu cosplay too.

I have to get my Glaceon wig, and sew in the wefts still, can't do that till the 5th when I get paid (on layaway of sorts from a friend)

Then I'll buy my outfit online, I already have her socks. Once I get white loafers for Kumori I'll have shoes for Glaceon too~

Oh my gosh, I'm worried. So, I wanted to bike to Joanns tomorrow but they're saying it's going to get up to the triple digits tomorrow so I dunno if that'd be the smartest thing I've ever done. Nya. Need more hot glue sticks. DX

Otherwise, the only things I have left to do - Sew top, finish Leech Seeds (need glue), finish my bulbasaur ears and if I am going to have them this convention I need to schedule a wooonderfully overpriced appointment with my eye doctor to get my prescription just to see if my base curve and diameter will be cool to order a pair of plano lenses. Fun times had by all.

I'm officially done with Victreebel after the lines I painted on my leaves dry in twenty minutes. I'm gonna take some pictures on Saturday of my costume :> I am excited for Pokemans now.

I need to get my boyfriend to work on his Oak cosplay though.

So, I am stoked. I need to find out my NEW contact lens prescription (because apparently it expired this past March... dammit) but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get an appointment anytime soon and theeeeeeen - There was a cancellation and I have an appointment tomorrow! Whoa!

I. Am. Stoked. If all goes well (meaning that my base curve and diameter cooperate) I will be ordering a pair of kickass contacts for Bulbasaur! Yay!

And the appointment is in the early morning so hopefully I will be able to retreat back to our house before it gets above 100. e_e

Dyed Corsola dress a few days ago, but i still need to rinse and bleach sections of it.

Does anyone have a pink wig I could possibly borrow?
If I end up getting a new Renge wig I'm not going to have the money to get a pink wig.
So, if you have one I could borrow (at least until I get the money to get my own) please tell me!

I'm not going to ever cosplay Sakura Haruno, at least not with that wig.

It's all yours. I tried fixing my friend's hack job, so it looks somewhat nice, with some gel and some love it could be just what you need for Corsola 6_^
