it never gets easyer I am sad to say, its there it just varies how close to the surface it is, and you can't control what brings it to the surface
I get this way when it nears the anivery of my best friends death or a batman movie cuz that was his nick name it was hard seeing the last batman movie,
or the last time I saw my dad, its been about 10 years since I last saw him It was hard at the wedding cuz he never answerd the invite but after the wedding I realised it wasn't nec my dad i was missing, just having a father, the hugs the threats to future boyfriends the talk of just stuff, some telling you that your special just cuz you are you, unconditional, that I miss so much

Wow, your life is NOTHING compared to what I've been through.

Dad died... He also moved to Oregon. Then we moved to Oregon.

Then he died

Before that, my MOM had to get Thyroid Cancer for herself, and now her right lung is paralyzed. No more roller coasters for her, huh? Because the stupid docter had to go ahead and nick her forenic nerve that goes somewhere to paralyze that side of her Diaphram.

Is this a competition?  :-\

Well anyway, I hope your mother is going to be alright Sagebell. It's always really hard to see someone you love go through something like this.

Are you serious right now? You're serious? Granted you're 12, I'll cut you some slack...but even a 12 year old knows when to keep their mouth shut.

She never said you had it easy, she didn't say anything to you. Why are you being so antagonistic? It sucks that you have had a similar situation. But instead of beating Sagebell down in her time of need, why don't you use your experience to try to help her out, and be a sympathetic figure for her? This is no place for competition. So don't make it into one, because you're going to end up on the wrong side of A LOT OF PEOPLE. So, take the hint.

every one goes through things differntly we all have had differnt life experinces/back grounds that affect how we react to things and every one is entitled to react to that pain/stressors in their own way, the last thing people need is to be told "you aint got it so bad/so what" empathy and sympathy NOT pity
(sorry if my psy bachlors degree is shownin)
I had a hard childhood, my husband had the oppisit but that is not his fault, but he has had to understand why i act the way i do at times
take care and if you need us we are here

its scary you know. She had 2 completely clogged arteries. they put cists(?) in them to openem up. she has a 3rd mostly clogged artery.
she is stuck with bed rest.
she must stop smoking and eat incredibly healthy.
I don't know when she'll be home.
Only time will tell.

Not stents like vice-president Cheney. I teased my mom when she had a screw installed in her ankle, that she was a junkie, as she was hooked up to the morphine drip system, one of the few times I have had my mother swear at me. lol

I would suggest keeping a note book of all your moms health related stuff and include doctors orders and such, thats what my aunt does for my grandmother lita for her diabitis, she had a heart attack this last summer and phemonia at the same time, (she got this right after coming to viset me to see me graduate from collage and did i feel guilty about it) 3 valves in her heart were cloged, they did stints, she recoverd shes really the only grandparent i have ever had

be sure to eat even if your not hungery, and give your mind breaks like reading or video games something that doset need thought, because its these kind of stress that makes you clench your sholders and muscles when you dont even know it

it was auctualy pretty funny when my grandma Lita who had  had a heart attack (among other things this last summer is diabetic and has a really bad lingering cough (she worked with saudering before they invented ventilation)
and chris's great aunt opal who had just gotton over something (flu hip replacement broken hip?) and flown in from missori for our wedding
there were both at our place for our rehersal and my grandma was trying to give opal the recliner chair and opal was like "no no go head and sit down"

Okay. The only advice I give you: Clean your living room.
The reason I say that? Most living rooms are dirty.

BACK ON THE ORIGINAL TOPIC;
IF someone you know has died, GO THE DE DOUGY CENTER.

If you're grieving. It's for kids/teens/adults who are grieving.

Zat is all.
