Yes, badges are printing right now! We still need to print the letter and the envelopes and stuff, but so they wont mail immeadiately. But, hopefully our reg monkeys will start dropping them off in the mail within the next two weeks. I just thought I would post since I know that some of you are always eager to know

Also, there will be a more formal annoucement later, but there is a special treat for pre-reg peoples this year. You know how we always send out a letter with your badge on pretty letterhead with the mascot at top? This year you can take that letter to our merch booth, and they will cut off the art at the top and turn it into a free pin for you! I will post a picture of what the pin will look like a bit later on.

I love the badge designs this year! I will try to get pics up soon.

Just make sure that any pics posted online are taken at an angle. This makes it at least a little harder if anyone wants to make a forged Kcon badge

I will also annouce when badges get mailed out.

(note: we aren't forcing people to wear lanyards this year)

Oh ho! No lanyards? That will be new.

Although I've become somewhat fond of them, so I may bring a lanyard and pouch from a year before and use it anyway, haha. Lanyard has become synonymous with Kumoricon for me, heh.

I know staff will have lanyards. I will bring up the idea that some attendees might want lanyards available and see what we can do.

That will be nice. It will be hard to get the lanyard over my wig x.x

So I'll just have a little clip one like at sakuracon. Those are easy to put on and take off XD

Yes, I had problems with lanyard + wig too. When I posed for pics, I just turned the lanyard to hang down my back instead of front. Clip on eh? Hmmm...

I was wondering, if I emailed registration would they be able to answer this question? We're having a discrepancy over here about whether or not we've pre-reg'd yet. So, if I emailed the registration folk(s) with our names is there a list they could check to see if we have? I'd like to reg as soon as possible and if we ARE registered it'd be kind of bad to do so twice, y'know? On the other end, to think we're registered then find out down the line we're not...

I'm asking because I did email registration a couple weeks ago, and haven't gotten a response, but I know ya'll are busy... I'm wondering if I went about this the right way? Emailing registration? Any advice on what I should do?

I'm going to make a guess and say you'll probably be Tier 2 or 3. Pre-Reg starts at Kumoricon, so with about 6 months of time there have probably been enough to fill at least the first tier. But I think Tier 1 is what was being worked on presently, that's just a guess though.

Oh, you'll definitely get it, sooner or later. You're still way ahead of the majority of those who pre-reg or attend, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. But yes, an ETA would always be appreciated.

I had it for awhile, Firefox is just an internet browser, minimize AOL and just use Firefox instead.

Tried to send this on friday but the internet line was being wonky!!

Hi! I know a lot of you are anxiously awaiting all I have to say

Badges
are printed and in envelopes they should be mailed out this week. I have all
through the end of February done. If you reg'd after that you'll get yours a
little later than anticipated. (maybe 2 weeks?) feel free to email
registration@kumoricon.com and I'll respond (I just got access to the email
so I haven't responded to any yet, i know I know)

I think you'll all be pleased at the look of them! I'm really excited for
everyone to get their badges! So if you can be a little patient they will be
coming! So if you can hold off on the emails till the end of next week (to
allow for the post office to deliver) I'll love you forever and ever and
ever!

If you have non mailing questions feel free to email me (just remember that
we are a little busy so if you don't get a response in 24hours it'll be
within 48 for sure)
