That'd be cool Inc ^^ I hope you get that house~

Well, right now it's just up in the air. I don't have a dedication to either really. But it'll depend a lot I think on my hair. It'll be weird to see a Summoner Yuna with hair past her middle back, eh? ^^; I don't think I could swing that and look as "accurate" as I'd like... I dunno @.@ I'll ponder it for a few more weeks lol

Well are you doing the original tifa, or AC Tifa? because AC Tifa has shorter hair so it'd be easier to pull off the switch...

That looks awsome Nikki~ How big is it, what's it made out of, and how heavy is it? XD; *goes all fan*

Inc: It's AC Tifa and neither one needs a wig, but I'm not gonna trim my hair up for Yuna cause I'm trying to grow it long again. *I just can't decide how I want my hair these days, but not short xD* I could probably stuff one in a bag, since I won't have a prop. Maybe a Chocobo plushie- but that'll go with both of the costumes anyway.

I asked for about 4 feet tall but it looks like the blade alone is 4 feet. As for the weight he said it shouldn't weigh more than 10 pounds. I'll know more once it gets here ;D

Buy a cheap sheet or thin cotton curtain, wrap it around and hold it with some form of tape so it doesn't touch the blade, and lean it horizontally against the floor? My keyblades never seem to get dusty or fall, so they just lean against a wall in my room.

By advent children, they have learned how to infuse materia into themselves, instead of putting them into weapons, heh. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

*points at cloud's longest sword in AC* There are materia slots. The longest sword with the like 10 circle holes- that's for materia!!!!

I don't actually think it is for materia. Here is a picture of all the swords http://www.robheller.com/images/blog/cloud_sword.jpg One of them has a lot of holes but they aren't round. And if you notice in the movie the only people who use materia are the bad guys. Cloud has kept them locked away and hidden from everyone else.

Great diagram, Nichole. I agree, I'm pretty sure materia doesn't get used in (at least) the Buster Sword 2.0, if not in a lot of other weapons also.

I imagine if any characters used materia, they would absorb it like Kadaj did. Kadaj had a weapon, but he put it in his arm instead. Would that be a materia-slotted armor then? I don't think so, but, I'm no expert.

He did put it in his arm .... I'm guessing in terms of details of the game, it'd be slotted armor or the wrist/accessories the game also had.. It had 2 armor-types and one weapon if I recall... x_x

Hmmm confusing , yet it makes sense.

I agree *nod* lol

I was bored after all the fireworks keeping me up, so I took a random image of my Reno costume. I bought the wig randomly a bit ago, and go figure xD I've got all the stuff for his costume in my closet hehe Yay for zipper-closing black leather jacket~
Sorry it's so tiny, I figured re-sizing it would be good.

I'll get a picture of Tifa later outside XD Maybe one of my friends'll wear my Reno or something to the con. I dunno.

I got bored today and was like "meh take pics of Tifa!" XD I didn't feel like fighting with the ribbon to get it on, and I was too lazy to put on the lip gloss XD But I did get 2 okay-ish pics.

x_x; My hair at the top's now too light for Tifa aargh~ I wonder if I can find a dark brown dye thing so I can dye my hair just before the con....

Oh yeaaah I also got these shoes from Ross recently. They have a lot of white on them, but I'm not sure how much I wanna cover them with black (black fabric marker).... What do you all think?

The shoes are up to you, as for the hair I plan on getting mine dyed one more time before the con, like the weekend before if not during the week so I would do it if I were you.

Well I don't know if I can buy a black fabric marker to color them before the con. Might, might not. I would prefer them to be a lot more black x_x; But if I can't for kumori I won't die over it. I'm more concerned with how long the skirt is x_x It's like 2'' too long.

Yeah, I'd say the shoes would look better if they were darker. Just kind of looks like Tifa went walking through white paint or wet cement, haha.

But it looks good, for the most part.  :)

If you wanted to call your cosplay "Midgar Incident Tifa" or something...like she got roughed up in the heart of Midgar...that could explain the shoes, heh. I mean really, if there is nothing you can do about it, don't stress over it. The costume looks good overall, and nobody will get on your case about the shoes. People are accepting in person, heh

Bo problem (I'm in the group too, so I don't mind). There hasn't been a place chosen yet, as far as I know. We'll probably pick a location at the Pre-Con meeting, because we'll be scouting the area's parks and locations.

lol, The Pre-Con is August 16th, at noon. We're meeting at the hotel to get a tour through and get used to the area, and then we are also going to check out the area, hang out and do a pre-battle walkthrough for the Mock-Battle.

Hmm good point. I hope people won't get on me about the shoes cause they have such bright white on them x_X; They'll just have to deal I guess lol

So many questions! But I agree with you Abyss, Nikki does seem to be our fearless *leader*, ne?~ She's so organized~ Q.Q Yay!

Location's a good question... I don't think I've ever heard of them assigned until the con-staff maybe assigns it perhaps, like in the schedules...?

You mean the Pre-Con? No, that's August 16th (we're in July, lol).

And actually locations of photo shoots are chosen by the groups themselves. Staff don't actually have any say because the shoots are attendee-ran events. So, whenever we all agree on a place, it will become THE place for the shoot.
