tifa- work gloves (gardening gloves would work)

Would you also consider Yuffie's Pinwheel to be a joke weapon too?

I mean.. c'mon. A pinwheel?  :D

The Pinwheel is not a pinwheel by modern standards, it's not the toy that spins in the wind, lol. It's like a massive shuriken. So, no, I wouldn't consider that a joke weapon.  ;D

it would be funny to have tifa with big, bulky boxing gloves XD I have some karate glove thingy's that could work.

but that would be too simalar to barrets hmmm. All the other joke weapons I can think of are slightly in-the-gutter kind of humor.

Beer bottle? Fan-boys-be-gone mace? XD

for aerith I think it would be funny to have a huge flower as a weapon XD Like that thing in super smash bros, but thats just an idea lol

well the point of the joke weapons was that they didn't have any materia slots or very good stats, so they were just kind of funny. not that it was easy to see what they all were, i mean the most visible ones were cloud's and aeris' because of the quality of games at the time, but that was the same with all the other weapons that weren't jokes. anyway, it was just an idea, but if we did joke weapons, i think it would be best to do the ones from the game, otherwise it wouldn't really make sense, but maybe that's just me o.O

work gloves for tifa could work really well if you got those really girly frilly gardening gloves or something.

lol, can't be obvious enough sometimes. IT seemed like there was a misunderstanding of the concept of "Joke Weapons.

Simply put, every character in FFVII had one weapon that was good for nothing, and they (for the most part) looked like a big joke. This is what we were talking about. Kahlan wasn't making up the idea, she was referencing these Joke Weapons from the game. So, suggesting something else for the position of "Joke Weapon", as mentioned, just wouldn't make much sense within the concept when you understand that these are already weapons in the game.

Anyway, I think it would just be a fun thing to do. The Joke Weapons are all very simple and fun, they are made for not being difficult. I'll definitely be doing Barret's Rocket Punch, and if anyone else does, that will be fun, but whatever, lol. Planning things gets unnecessarily complicated too often here.

haha, yeah, might cause an issue. I could probably work on making up some (obviously fake) nailbat for you, if you would like.

Either way, I'm still excited for this group, no matter what kind of weapons are there, haha.

Push come to shove, ya'll can try to get together at like a private photo shoot with the joke weapons and just have at it away from the rules of the con, and then just go back and be all 'peace and love' to everyone. Haha

Possibly doing Tifa.
I know, old news. Lots do her. But I've been wanting to cosplay her since I saw the ads for AC. +_+ I will do her even if it means scratching off someone else.

I'm not really worried about the costume much other than the shoes and the red ribbon actually staying on my arm >>;

*pumped pose* Crunches on a ball and push-ups here I come! And DDR for legs ? XD; I dunno. I need tips on how to get my arms into shape anyway. They've gotten weak since coming to college a few months ago.

I think the only thing that's deterred me from being Tifa all these years is a huge birthmark on the front of my calf that people think's a stupid bruise >>; It's not purple, geeze. It's just, a good 4''x2'' big.....

But yeah, I need to focus on my gut big time, gotten bad. Arms are doing okay, though, lol.

I have zero will power, but lucky for me we never have any good food to eat, and I don't have the money for snacks. So usually I starve until dinner. XD I made the habit of eating a bowl of rice with water after I get off school since I'm so hungry because I don't eat lunch... which I guess is a good thing.

I should probably be eating more myself... I'm more or less out of the pasta thing right now, and I have no pizzas or cereals left T-T I might have to give in and start going to the cafeteria for food more often in the next few weeks. But all I eat from there is some kind of pasta or roll and pizza and a swig of soda -_- Their soda doesn't taste too sharp...
When I get home though I can start walking to the beach and junk, and I can probably bug one of my friends if they have weights.

Sides Inc, you're thin enough. You just need a cardeo-vascular workout and food in you.

I ordered Tifa's costume the other day. *thinks*
Oh yeah, I need to either find somewhat good shoes for her, or attack my leather sneakers that don't quite look right with white paint or something x_x Painting leather.. ha... I'll have to see if I can find some good shoes on amazon or something, cause the Tifa shoes for sale on eBay are like 60$ @.@
And cut my hair. Which'll be annoying cause I can't see behind my head to do it right on the sides >> So I might just put that off for a few months and do it in August.

I think that Tifa is Crisis Core version. I mean there is a glimps of her in that outfit during FFVII but it was from a flashback that takes place during CC.

*chuckling* I found a way to get my keyblade on my back... I won't have to carry the thing at the con XD It's just that means I wouldn't be able to really pose with it without spending 5 min to untie it >>;

I wouldn't go to any instead of the photo shoot, but at the same time I'd prefer not to have to compromise. There aren't any yearly events I plan to attend, like the Cosplay Contest or AMV or anything like that. I just like to partake in panels and things, but of course whenever the Shoot ends up getting scheduled, I'll go to it, there's no doubt about that. I just like to know my options first. And since the schedule has always been posted weeks in advance, even tentatively, I figure there's no need to commit to a certain day and time so early on. That's what I was thinking anyway.
