I didn't like it because the book was so amazing, and the movie didn't do it justice.  Then they added that guy who was her friend, and he was just a really crappy character in my opinion.  The book was so much better.

The animation was nice and fluid, but the book.  So much better.  It had me terrified for months after I had read it (I was like, nine or something, give me a break!).  The movie is really lighter and toned down.
lol peer pressure

Plans:
Kumoricon '11: Catherine (Catherine), Nanami (Revolutionary Girl Utena)
Sakuracon '12: Ryfia (Arc Rise Fantasia), other things

Gah, I simply must see this!
I recognized the animation style within the first few seconds of the commercial and immediately decided I must see it. In 3-D, if it's still playing.
Also, once I see it I'll read the book.
(I know it's normally the other way around but I have quite a few books I'm reading right now)
