Just walk around and take pictures...which is pretty much what I did this time around. I made one friend, but that's about it. I had my brother with me, and he was not feeling the con so it kind of put a damper on things and made it hard to get to know people.

If they were happy with the other person, have just a simple date with them then leave them to their destiny. Now if they were marrying the other and he wasn't exactly well suited but the only option left (Fiona in the first Shrek movie), I'd do all that I could to steer her back to me. State what went wrong, why it did, and how we could fix and learn from it.

Probably ignore them because it was their own choice to misinterpret what I said. Of course I would try to explain myself a little but from what you described they would be insistent on being douche bags so I'd just let it be.

Wonder who the crack was swinging too hard at Amtgard. If it happened outside of Amtgard however, I'd wonder what I ran into to get my chops mashed. Regardless, I'd see if the dentist could put them back in and touch up some minor cavities here and there. (I blame Halloween)
